The new SS19 Collection finds its inspiration in the Hawaiian golden days, through SoCal endless laid-back appeal to urban NYC surf lifestyle. We worked to create something unique, new and honest, combining original designs and our authentic DNA, while always keeping in mind the need for comfort, functionality and fashionable.

The main product categories are: our fundamental colorful boardshorts, corduroy walk shorts, a wide range of comfortable and functional fleeces (crews, zip hoodies, hoodies sweatpants, jackets), cool and tasteful graphic tees grounded on the brand’s strong iconic imagery , a new range of caps in new retro prints, embroideries and colourways and a super-creative assortment of shirts and camp shirts based on a reinterpretation of the retro tropical Lightning Bolt archives.
Which are the main trends for next summer 2019?
Colours are energetic and unambiguous. Silhouettes are simple, sporty and soft tailored for a contemporary context of wellness, emphasized by a palette of primary colours.
In a playful and nostalgic mix of old and new, classic sports pieces are reworked with geometric angles and athletic stripes.
The unpretentious look and clean-cut with designs underpinned by a traditional athletic aesthetic, with subtle details, translates a contemporary take on the American lifestyle vibe.
Any new fabric features and technical innovations?
Lightning Bolt keeps the ideal short for summer: a hybrid between a swim trunk and a traditional short.
