How are you segmenting your sunglasses?
Action and Leisure.
Where do you expect your biggest growth in 2023?
Leisure is going to outperform Action due to the Fun oriented positioning of the brand.
What frame shapes and colours are most popular from your offering and why?
Our fusion styles melt the categories of Action and Leisure with our Seamless Lens Construction styles Tain, Till, Tuan and Tusk.
What lens technologies are you currently working with?
Cylindrical mono-lenses (shield), Seamless Lens Construction, Polar Z Lenses and we introduce CR39 Lenses.
Which lens colours and tints are you offering this year?
Mostly mirrors/revo, as they are working very well for Red Bull SPECT Eyewear. Red-Orange and Ice Blue Revo are the best ones.
What are the main materials used in your 2023 sunglasses offering?
TR90, but introducing more and more G850 (eco-friendly)
Do you offer prescription glasses?
Pretty much all of our shades can be glazed and our entire bluefilter collection can be used as well for prescription
Anything new in terms of sustainability?
Re-worked entire packaging line – less plastic, less material, follow-up on order deadlines to avoid air shipping.
How are you helping retailers sell this category?
Heavy investments in displays. Increase head count in the trade-marketing team.
