What is the overall theme behind your 2023/24 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
A lot of new people entered the sport in the past few seasons, and through trial and error they are learning how to dress better. It doesn’t take long to realize that lighter gear allows you to go further and faster and if you choose the correct layering, with more comfort. For 23/24 we really focused on building products that work well in a system for light and fast touring missions. At the same time, we really focused on insulation to fit well within those systems.
What new colours / prints are you introducing?
Our overall color theme is to use timeless colors that you will see in nature. We want to be able to mix and match the colors between seasons, so no matter what model year apparel you have, you can match your new jacket to your old pants and it‘s going to look great. This season we are introducing one new women‘s specific color called Terracotta. It‘s an earthy red tone that’s bright enough to be visible on the slopes. Other new shared colors with the Jones men’s collection are the Mineral Gray and Dawn Blue. The Mineral Gray is light and fresh and works with every color. The Dawn Blue is a very dark color that has hints of blue and green. We love the all over print made by RP Roberts that we used last season, so we decided to recolor it for this season. We offer it as a Glacier Print in Mineral Gray with black line art, and a Camo Print based on gray tones with black line art.
