What areare the main customers’ demands when buying a technical snow pack?
A combination of stylish, technical and great quality packs. Not overloaded with gimmicks but the right features for your outdoor adventures. Clear positioning of the packs, like touring, riding or all day use
What were your best sellers in 2023/24 and why?
The BC because of it’s great back system with no swing weight while riding, easy touring mode and a timeless look and feel. As well you have the option to integrate in no time a super light weight EPP back protector
In which type of pack do you expect your biggest growth?
We are currently working on pack crossing seasons and sports. People are multi sport focused and we want to offer products here
What are the technical highlights of your 2024/25 collection?
The new wishbone back system. A back pack carry system completely 3D molded for perfect adjustability, durability and lightweight
What materials are you using in your 2024/25 collection? Any new ones?
Our 24/25 line on the outer shell is made to 100% with a recycled nylon called MIPAN regen®.
MIPAN® regen is the world’s first certified reclaimed nylon filament yarn made for textile usage. It uses to 100% reclaimed waste, which saves valuable resources from being removed from the earth. High energy saving of petroleum resources during production of the yarn is characteristic for the product. Each kilogram of recycled yarn saves up to 7 kilogram CO2 compared to standard nylon filament yarn production.
The filament has received Control Union’s Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certification.
Products made with MIPAN® regen provide excellent tenacity, durability, as well high resistance to tear and abrasion.
The water-repellent coating of those products is without environmentally harmfully fluorocarbons (PFCs). The water- and dirt-repellent properties are based on a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) that is harmless to our environment and health. The surface treatment causes water to roll of the outside of the fabric, thus the product remains dry.
All linings are made of 100% recycled Poylester. Right now we are looking at more than 90% recycled materials at our packs
What color palettes, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2024/25 collection?
We stay classy our line is only offered in dark-black. Give products a longer life circle si as well more sustainable
Are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
Overall we established a plan to ensure social responsibility to our factory employees (like FairWear), a commitment to reducing airmiles where possible, increasing the lifespan of our products through high quality materials AND an all-new repair service.
As well we look out on a daily bases for new materials, non-petroleum based options, etc.
