How would you describe the current state of the snowboard market? What big developments, changes, challenges, and/or opportunities are you seeing and how is your brand navigating them?
Splitboarding has plateaud but there is a growing demand higher end tech and better functional boards, bindings and boots.
After last winter and the lack of snow in Europe, what’s your overall sales and production/inventory strategy for 24/25?
We have seen a very strong growth and can not see any reason why it’s not going to continue in to the next couple of seasons.
Does your brand have any new developments concerning sustainability and/or how you are positioning any environmental messaging?
We’re certified climate neautral and are continuously exploring new ways of improving Strandas sustainability.
What are your top product marketing stories for next season?
We don’t do marketing stories.
SPLITBOARD SPECIFIC
What about new board construction, innovation, or shape trends? Any big advancements in functionality? Skinning, transitions, etc, as well as riding? Any specific effort on ranges for 24/25? If yes, where and why?
We’re launching the Biru split. A volume shifted shape for sidecountry, shorter low aspect touring. A fat and floaty camber dominant shape for fun and easy powder riding. It’s based on our awarded volume shifted Biru.

Biru Backcountry:
Floaty in powder with it’s long nose and small fish tail. Full camber for maximum pop and send with a tiny bit early rise. Aggressive turned up tail kick for switch landings without consequences. Edge tech for secure grip – we added three PowerBumps®

Shorty Backcountry:
A guides favourite due to stability and extreme durability. At the same time our easiest to ride split. We’ve updated it with a new lighter nose construction to get a better balance when touring. We’re adding a womens 148.

Probably the lightest split on the market. It’s getting a new and heat dissipating topsheet design. For the long and demanding days on the skin track.
