How was the sunglasses market overall in 2023?
IZIPIZI experienced a growth of over 20% in its Sport range within our retailers network in 2023 vs 2022.

What new trends have you seen for sunglasses in board sports for 2024?
More and more sunglasses with cycling inspiration for a few years now. To cover this market our Speed model fits perfectly. Besides you could find some timeless frames as our Journey.

What segment of your offering is selling best in 2024 so far?
Our two best-selling products at the beginning of the year are our Glacier, the brand’s iconic model for mountain outings, and our Journey model, a historic polarized model that very well supports our clients during surf trip preparations.

Have you introduced any frame shapes and colours in your 2024 offer?
In 2024, we revisited all the color options for our SPORT range and added a new product to our Glacier line. A pair of sunglasses with straight arms and category 3 lenses to complement our Glacier model with category 4 lenses and curved arms. And by the end of 2024, we will launch a new product that will be particularly suited for water-close sports activities. Stay tuned!

Overall, our polarized lenses are most in demand.

Have you introduced any new lens colours and tints in your 2024 offering?
No this year we have capitalized on our existing lenses.

Any noteworthy sustainable practices in your production and shipping processes this year?
All our SPORT sunglasses are made from biosourced materials, consisting of 45% castor oil. We prioritize maritime transport of our productions over air transport to reduce our carbon footprint.

What are your marketing stories?
Our marketing stories are crafted to showcase that our sports frames are designed for the entire family and for all sporting moments in life, specifically focusing on three terrains: mountain, sea, and plain.

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
Trade marketing activation support with our pro team and ambassadors. Demo  tool for our polarized style to show the added value to wear that kind of lenses in term of comfort.
