ANDFEELINGS MENS STREETWEAR S/S 2025 PREVIEW
Retail Buyers Guide: Mens Streetwear S/S 2025 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand: AndFeelings
Interviewee: Julien Duval – President & jack of all trades
What is Your Brand?
Our aim is to invest in creative projects and build a tightly controlled brand universe for fans, rooted in Skateboarding, art and urban fashion. And Feelings is the brainchild of Los Angeles-based artist Chad Eaton, who created And Feelings to relive memories from his life in a new visual way. Most of the graphics simplify metaphors based on moments etched in his mind and memories he’s collected on his shelf. While And Feelings is rooted in the culture of skateboarding and art, the brand aims to celebrate the creative spirits inherent in all kinds of subcultures. Culture and experience through products.
Are we noticing changes in the streetwear market this season?
Streetwear emerged as an antidote to wider fashion trends, stemming from countercultures like skate, surf and hip-hop. It also opened the floodgates to a demographic that was previously “not allowed” to show an interest in fashion: men. Streetwear as a trend and market is the key driver in the broad fashion market. Look at who are now the creative director at brands like Fila, Kenzo and Louis Vuitton. Skateboarder, musician or streetwear pioneers.
With inflation creeping up, are you price points also growing?
We have being keeping our pricing and retail margin competitive and when most brands have increase their pricing season after season, we have managed to keep ours steady.
What are your stories/ collection themes for SS25?
We continue staying true to our brand pillars, a unique artistic point of view combined with qualitative garments constructed with fine materials and a particular attention to fit and detailing. Based on the success of the Maker, our first Pants and Shorts style, we are introducing 2 complementary fits, a straight tapered fit and a balloon fit. As far as the color palette goes, we built the line around bright primary colors such as Electric Blue, Yellow, Red, White and some eye catching All Over Prints.
Are there any collaborations to look forward to?
Yes, we are also presenting 2 collaborations with skateboarder and multi disciplinary artist Ruben Sanchez and fine lettering and sign painting artist Sara Pasternak.
STYLE/MATERIALS
What big trends are you anticipating for SS25?
A lot of newness in regards to art and prints. Also a continuity in wearing comfortable garments.
Are you putting an effort into sustainable clothing/production with your brand?
As a new label working with A-level production sources, it can be challenging to reach MOQ and not have to bear up-charges. We commit to producing with sustainable materials when it makes sense to. For example, our most elevated cut& sew pieces for Fall24 is the Vista Sherpa Fleece for which we were able to access to recycled polyester.
Are you experimenting with any new fabrics/materials?
We are introducing new printing and embroidery technics such as puffy inks, felt appliqués and bouclette. Elevating our Tops program. As with the Bottoms, we are introducing new colors, new washes and new materials such as nylon/cotton.
Are the boxy styles of last year remaining, or are we seeing new styles coming through?
Boxy and comfy is here to stay. There does not seem to be any slimming down going on anytime soon.
The streetwear / Tech-wear crossovers seems to still be very prominent right now, are there any other styles you expect to excel this season?
If you take a short cut, Streetwear is dominated by 4 main influences at the moment, Workwear, Outdoor, Luxury and a specific trend blowing out of American Hip Hop stars. Chrome Hearts is a brand that represent that style the best. Dark, exclusive and expensive.
DENIM
Which trends are you pushing for in the denim segment?
We are expanding our Bottoms program with 2 new styles. First is the Grinder pant, 1 loose tapered for the guys and gals looking for a comfy yet more fitted silhouette. Then we have the Baller, a balloon shaped pant giving plenty of room to move flawlessly.
What is your current denim collection’s theme and marketing story?
#quality matters at an affordable price
