Which goggles sold best in the winter 2023/2024 and why?
Our best-selling goggles for the 23/24 season was the CONTEX platform, known for its modern yet timeless design and excellent anti-fog performance. The range includes several models: PHOTO models with photochromatic lenses, PRO models featuring Laminated Double Lenses and our advanced 5K lens technology. We also offer standard models with a double lens and mirror coating for more budget-conscious customers. With prices ranging from 80 to 140 EUR, the CONTEX line focuses on delivering high-tech, stylish products loaded with features. All CONTEX models are available in three sizes – small, medium, and large – because size matters. Sales figures confirm this approach resonates with customers.
Are you feeling the impact of climate challenges (unpredictable conditions, snow at higher altitudes, more expensive costs) on your product demand and development?
We are not experiencing any impact on product demand or development, as there continues to be strong interest in helmet purchases. The demand for our goggles remains high, with a consistent number of units being sold.
What are the highlights in frame construction and materials of your 2025/26 collection?
For the 25/26 season, we keep our focus to goggles with frames, as we see this as a growing trend. Our focus is on wider frames to achieve maximum visibility and seamless integration with helmets, both at the top and sides of the face. The frame also opens up new design possibilities, allowing us to incorporate strap patterns into the frame for a more unified and stylish appearance.
What are the highlights in lens technology in your 2025/26 goggle collection?
Solar-controlled lens tint: Sunscreen is our brand-new solar-powered lens technology with an integrated LCD. It automatically adjusts the goggle lens in a split of second, darkening in sunlight and brightening in shade. The solar panel generates voltage in sunlight, activating a microprocessor that controls liquid crystal rotation. This adjusts the lens tint instantly for optimal visibility.
What colours, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2025/26 collection?
We keep on following our Intermix Design strategy which we initially introduced two seasons ago. Throughout the whole range, any goggle can be matched with any helmet. Next to seasonal trend colors, like earthy or warmish tones, a variety of timeless classics will be available, making for over 600 possible combinations. Thus, everyone finds his or her perfect combination of goggles and helmets!
Which goggles from your 2025/2026 collection do you expect the most growth from and why?
We expect the biggest growth to come from our frame design goggles platforms, NEVES and CONTEX. Modern frame design combined with innovative lens features – including our brand-new Sunscreen technology – and seamless helmet integration, at various price points that appeal to the budget-conscious as well as the discerning customer looking for the latest technology to achieve high performance.
How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
We at HEAD call it Rethink: we rethink our workflows from the beginning to the end – from developing to packaging. By reducing waste and using natural, recycled, and certified raw materials and processes, we are on a good path but only at the beginning. Also in season 25/26 we continue offering more eco-friendly goggles – the CONTEX RETHINK and NEVES RETHINK. These goggles feature frames made from 30% bio- based TPU from corn stalks and textile straps made from 100% recycled yarn. We also use 100% recycled cardboard packaging and eliminate polybags, maintaining performance and price attractiveness. Additionally, all our packaging is now certified cardboard, printed with water-based ink, and free of plastic see-through windows to enhance recyclability. To support professional athletes, we’ve implemented bulk packaging for goggles and lenses, reducing resource waste by eliminating printed manuals, spare lenses, hangtags, stickers, and unnecessary EVA cases. Athletes typically require just one case for transportation, or they can use our convenient goggle bag for storage.
How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
Some of the world’s best athletes use HEAD goggles – so our products are always and everywhere highly represented. In addition, we provide our retailers with high-quality content, including info and videos about products, features, technologies, fit, and use helping them to present and sell HEAD goggles to their customers. Furthermore, we offer high-quality, durable, and sustainable POS items such as metal branded goggle slat wall holders, highlight counter displays, and much more to highlight our products in the stores. Regarding the line structure, we have increased the number of carry-over products and multi-seasonal colors, based on our Intermix Design strategy. By doing so, we offer our partners the option to sell our goggle line in multiple seasons without the pressure to close out. But nothing beats putting the goggles in the hands of the customer and letting them try themselves to see features like the outstanding wide field of vision or our contrast- enhancing lens, depending on what the customer is looking for or his/her available budget.
