Retail Buyers Guide: Snowboard Bindings F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand: Amplid
Interviewee: PB
How was last season in the snowboard binding market?
For Amplid we could grow both on the board as well as on the binding side. Many of our customers have this “set-mind”, where they want board and binding from the same brand. Because it looks slick and matches well. With our lightweight Proton Binding we have perfect match for our response boards.
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard bindings market?
We kept our pricing flat and will do for the next season as well.
Key Products:
Proton C.i.:
With a Freeride focused personality provided by a brand new carbon injected nylon recipe, the levels of response and control it delivers are utterly breath-taking. Superlight yet still unbreakable this minimalistic binding is all you need. Because fit and performance go hand-in-hand, the “C.I.” version’s (as in Carbon Injected) chassis is fully adjustable. This binding puts you in control of any physical force.
Proton:
Amplid’s go-to-all-mountain binding. A dependable and trustful all-mountain binding with a price tag that won’t break the bank. It’s easy to adjust, so getting that custom-fit-feeling is piece of cake. Underfoot EVA padding provides great shock absorbency and 3-degree canted footbeds give weary knees some rest bite. Injection moulded ankle straps offer great support and response with enough mobility for tweaks. Available in any colour you want, so long as it’s black.
