YES SNOWBOARD BINDINGS F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW
Retail Buyers Guide: Snowboard Bindings F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand: Yes
Interviewee: Brand Manager
How was last season in the snowboard binding market?
Last season was quite an exciting one in the binding market with a lot of innovation coming from the NDK group. In a segment that is normally quiet it brough a lot of attention from the market.
With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
As far as development and sourcing we are remaining in the same system and have to weather the inflation. Regarding logistics focussing on early order completion and boat shipping can better the cost but unfortunately we are all going through the same price increase overall.
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard bindings market?
The top of the line products are not so much impacted but the entry level and the increasingly strong “pack” demand makes the bindings the product that will suffer from a margin loss in order to make packs competitive within the market.
E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
Both are equally important to the business; we work closely with all partners to have a healthy offer that doesn’t cannibalize one or the other.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
We provide them with a unique solution for freestyle bindings giving a strong POD to the other brands and we are now also able to propose boards and bindings in our offer so we have a full hardgoods offer.
What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 bindings season?
We are strong believers in the Skatetech technology and are pushing this solution as being the most performant and comfortable option in bindings.
Are you introducing any new innovations in buckles, straps, highbacks, baseplates, heel cups, etc..?
While we’re not introducing any groundbreaking innovations this season, we’re committed to optimizing the performance of our existing components. Our focus remains on refining these features for durability, comfort, and functionality.
Are you using any new materials in your bindings for 25/26?
We’re not incorporating any new materials this season.
Any new design or pattern approaches in your 25/26 gear?
Any collabs on the line? Yes we managed to make a full Airmaster pattern on our Airmaster binding and with a specific system we are able to get that pattern on our whole Airmaster line.
Any quick entry bindings in your collection for 25/26?
Not for 25/26
Anything new concerning sustainability and related products or construction you would like to highlight?
Nothing new on the sustainability front since we introduced smaller packaging last year to reduce shipping volume.
Are you planning to focus on a special product range or type of customers?
We focus on the core rider that is looking for performance and that wants a binding that will support his riding.
