How was last season in the splitboard market?
Lots of uphill and some amazing descents.
With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
We are constantly tuning our process, implementing new technology and materials
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the splitboard market?
You can get some good deals on split boards out there. We are premium brand and we handcraft premium product.
E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
We love dealers…we have carried over our split board designs to keep things smooth and simple for retailers. We sell the majority of our boards to physical retailers many of whom have an on line component to their business.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
We are carrying forward all our split designs so they can purchase with confidence.
What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 splitboard season?
Our team and our in house crew love the adventure, work, peaceful nature and score factor that comes with split boarding…we are focused on dream boards in dream powder
What about new board construction, innovation, or shape trends? Any big advancements in functionality? Skinning, transitions, etc, as well as riding? Any specific effort on ranges for 25/26? If yes, where and why?
We are carrying forward our split board lines this year…Both the Travis Orca Techno Split and the short mid wide Escalator split model.
Are you using any new materials in your splitboard for 25/26? If so, what, and why? We’re interested in anything new in inserts / edges / cores / sidewalls / glue / resin/ wood types / base material / top sheet / wax / etc..
We build our split boards as light as possible…we maximize polonia wood usage to save weight and strategically incorporate carbon to dial flex in both split mode and create a natural non split feel for descents.
Any new design or pattern approaches in your 25/26 gear? Any collabs on the line?
Our split line is perfect…we are going to carry it forward and score more pow.
