Interviewee: Thomas DENAIS Export sales

How was last season in the snowboard binding market?
The market is saturated, with stores holding a lot of stock due to the covid effect. The hardboots market is becoming increasingly attractive, even though softboots still account for the majority of sales, but there is a strong appeal among insiders to this type of equipment.

With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
As far as prices are concerned, we have decided to limit the increase by including certain accessories with our fasteners (knife holders supplied as standard with the fastener). The reliability of our range of fasteners has been a priority for our design office over the last few years.

E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
Yes, ecommerce is still strong, although of course we have to rely on physical shops to ensure part of the sales and adequate service.
