How was the 23/24 base layer market?
The 23/24 season saw a strong and growing interest in versatile and technical base layers. Customers are increasingly recognizing the importance of multifunctional clothing that works seamlessly across a range of activities, and we’re excited to see the category continue to grow.

Are there any new trends in base layers?
While trends come and go, our focus remains on blending a streetwear-inspired aesthetic with technical, multifunctional garments. The idea of traveling light and choosing versatile, packable pieces is definitely gaining traction among women. The base layer as a key component of layering is also getting more attention, and is becoming a staple for more than just skiing and
snowboarding trips.

What’s your base layer strategy for 2025/26?
We’re continuing to push the boundaries of what multifunctional base layers can be and our core strategy is to provide women with an offering that allows them to travel light, enjoy maximum versatility, and have the most fun with minimal garments, thanks to our multiFUNctional designs. For 25/26, we’re adding new loose-fit styles to our base layer and wool layer lineup, alongside accessories like wool balaclavas, and loose-fit pants. We’re also introducing multiple new fleece and sherpa styles for layering.

What are the key materials you are using?
Sustainability and performance are always front of mind. Our base layers are made with Global Recycled Standard® and Oeko-Tex® certified 4-way stretch materials, with a UPF50+ sun protection. The fabrics come in two variations: a smooth-faced solid version and a ribbed option, both with a peached inner finish for extra comfort. We also use Australian Core Spun Merino Wool, certified by Woolmark® and RWS®, for our wool base layers and accessories.

Do you have any tech innovations for 2025/26?
We’re excited to expand our wool base layer collection and accessories while introducing a brand-new category: lightweight, packable, and multifunctional outdoor shell pieces. These will be crafted from DWR-treated stretch nylon, offering durability without compromising on weight or packability.

What colors and patterns are you working with?
We have a few exciting new prints to share, including Animal Swirl and Dusk Tie Dye, which perfectly complement our core solid colors. Speaking of solids, Sand and Olive are among the new additions this season, offering versatile, mix-and-match options. Of course, we’re continuing with our iconic prints, like Leopard, which carry over from season to season. The more detail, opinion, description & comment you give us, the more we can feature you.
