How was the women’s snow outerwear market in 2023/24
The market is improving, but still a bit soft now due to large scale economic and currency factors, and the resulting glut of overall inventory and snow specific inventory in the market. We saw biggest success with our high-end Women’ Beast Series, our new W’s Freedom Boss Pant, and our W’s Freedom Suits. A slow start to the winter in Europe was a challenge for all but we did get that snow blast at the end and very encouraging so far for snow in the Alps!!

What is the overall theme behind your 2025/26 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
The driving theme behind Airblaster’s 25/26 Women’s outerwear line is FIT, FUN, FUNCTION. Airblaster has always been known for dialed fits, whatever the silhouette, these are fits designed and tested by and for snowboarders, with the help of a team of professional developers. Fits across the board are going baggier, so this is where we’ve focused energy on new fits, making sure to create wide fits that still fit well. As always, Airblaster brings STAY WILD level color and print. But we have plenty of beautiful subtle MILD colors for those who want to blend in without being boring.

What new fits / silhouettes are coming out in 2025/26? What pant and jacket styles are most important in your range?
With the help of Naima Antolin, we’re proud to introduce a fully dialed Women’s Baggy Fit into a brand new kit in the 25/26 line, the Cypress Jacket and Pant. Through multiple prototypes, with constant fit and color feedback from Nai, Airblaster is proud to bring this 15K, custom branded, Women’s Baggy kit to market! Richly featured with full seam taping and zippered ventilation, the Cypress Jacket and Pant fold street level style and fit into backcountry ready function! Also new to Airblaster is the Women’s Wrench Coverall! This 10k one-piece suit has 40g of insulation and features our body-inclusive Every Body Fit. Following up on the massive trend of coveralls in Women’s street fashion, Airblaster brings the full body coverage of the Wrench Coverall to customers, all at a price that is less than half of many outerwear jackets in the market.

What new colours / prints are you introducing?
Around here, we just can’t get enough Leopard. For 2526 we are featuring a Snow Leopard and an OG Leopard. Also Watermelon! Yep, Airblaster keeps it juicy and refreshing. Realtree Camo print blocks keep the street look locked, while subtle hits of blush keep the vibe distinctly feminine.

Any *NEW* technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
Airblaster continues to focus on improvements in our sustainability and overall earth friendliness. 100% of Airblaster products are made without PFC or PFAS. All DWR coatings are PFAS-free. Airblaster black lining taffeta (our highest usage fabric) is either 100% recycled or 100% solution dye, two great options. Each season, more and more Airblaster outerwear shell fabrics use recycled fabrications. For outerwear, when Airblaster puts a recycled icon in our catalog or on our hang tag, this indicates 100% recycled shell fabric content. No cutting corners, no green washing, we do it right.

Any trends that your brand is moving away from?
For a few seasons, we offered a wide / cropped jacket fit, which was on point for trend, beneficial for those with substantial hips, and provided adequate coverage if you wore Airblaster High-Waisted pants or bibs. We’ve updated this Every Body fit top—our Lady Revert Jacket—to keep the width for style and body inclusivity, while adding some length to provide full coverage and protection for compatibility with standard snowboard pants.
