JONES WOMENS OUTERWEAR F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW

Retail Buyers Guide:  Womens Outerwear F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  JONES
Interviewee: Marketing Team

How was the women’s snow outerwear market in 2023/24
23-24 saw a big surplus of inventory in the market that needed time to clear out for shops and brands. Luckily we have always been conservative with our ordering and remained diligent in 24-25. This approach coupled with good execution on our deliveries has kept us in a good position for continued growth and we continue to see more traction in our outerwear on the mountains.

What is the overall theme behind your 2025/26 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
The overall theme behind the Jones 25/26 collection remains the same. We strive to make high performance and versatile outerwear that’s responsibly made out of recycled fabrics. All of our fits are movement focused and designed to offer the comfort and protection you need for long days in the mountains.

What new fits / silhouettes are coming out in 2025/26?
Fresh for 25/26, the Men’s and Women’s Shralpinist Stretch collections have been redesigned. The collection is made from the same 100% recycled three-layer 30K waterproof / 30K breathable 4-way stretch fabric that’s made without PFAS as the 24/25 collection, while the fits, pocket layouts and zippers have been updated. The big news in the world of MTN Surf is the addition of two new all-mountain freestyle inspired unisex pieces to the collection. The Tweaker Recycled Jacket and Tweaker Recycled Pants reflect young freestyle riders’ demand for high performance and durable technical outerwear with a relaxed fit and boxy cut that allows for completely unrestricted movement in dynamic riding situations. Both the jacket and pants are made out of the same high quality materials as the rest of the MTN Surf collection – 100% recycled two-layer 20K waterproof / 20K breathable fabric that’s made without PFAS, and lined with 100% recycled polyester. The women’s MTN Surf collection has also been completely re-designed with a roomier fit, PU-coated waterproof zippers, and bellowed pockets for a technical, yet fresh style. We’ve also added a Women’s MTN surf pant to the collection to meet the desire of girls who prefer to wear pants vs. bibs.

What pant and jacket styles are most important in your range?
It is hard to say what our most important styles are because they are all designed for a specific need and we keep the line focused and tight. For the most protection and versatility in extreme conditions you cannot beat the Shralpinist GORE-TEX ePE collection. If you’re looking for unmatched comfort and breathability without sacrificing protection, then the Shralpinist Stretch collection would be ideal. And if comfort and warmth are your main priorities, the MTN Surf collection has a range of insulation and pant/bib options to express your style and exceed your performance needs.

What new colour’s / prints are you introducing?
At Jones safety is always on our minds, so we always offer a “high visibility” color in our line. For 25-26 Lime Green and Bright Coral take the honors. You will also see a super cool “Peak Camo”colorway in the line that RP Roberts designed for us. We were able to offer this unique printed colorway in our MTN Surf collection, as well as our Re-Up Jacket and Vest.

Any technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
Jones has sourced the most recycled and upcycled fabric options available that meet our durability and performance standards from day one. We’ve always used as many recycled fabrics as possible, and now all of our outerwear is made with recycled materials. PFAS is also an important topic, and starting in 24-25 with our move to GORE-TEX ePE, all of our outerwear is now made without PFAS.
