The Count Down For NASS Festival Has Begun

The count down has started for one of the UK’s biggest Music, Art, Skate and BMX festivals, NASS Festival, held at Bath & West Showground, near to Bristol. The event will host some of the biggest names in music alongside a line up of excellent skaters and BMXers for a Skate Street Invitational, BMX Park Invitational and BMX Street Invitational.

Press Release: With exactly 100 days to go NASS Festival have announced that Yxng Bane, Tom Misch and Kojey Radical are joining their stacked line up featuring already announced headliners Giggs, Rudimental and Cypress Hill. Tipped as East London’s hottest new rapper and fresh off selling out Brixton Academy, Yxng Bane will bring his “unique blend of melodic rap with dancehall, R&B and Afrobeats” to NASS on Friday. Also announced for Sunday is “one of the UK’s top independent producers”, Tom Misch, whose 2018 critically acclaimed debut album ‘Geography’ made it into the top 10 in the UK album charts. Joining Tom Misch on the mainstage on Sunday is Hackney-born talent, Kojey Radical, who is famed for blending energetic and theatrical performances with deep and meaningful songs. NASS festival is the UK’s biggest celebration of music, street art, skate and BMX, taking place on Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 July 2019 at the Bath & West Showground, near Bristol. They join an incredible array of already announced acts including Friday’s headliner, influential UK rapper Giggs and Saturday’s headliner, BRIT-award winning collective Rudimental. Headlining Sunday are West Coast hip-hop icons Cypress Hill, who after making history as “the first Latino American hip-hop recording group to go platinum” and with 20 million album sales under their belt, have come to be known as one of the earliest and most prolific influences of hip hop. Expect their headline set to be filled with early hits such as “Insane In The Brain”, “Hits From The Bong” and “How I Could Just Kill A Man”.

Recently announced and adding to an already heavy hitting line up are the likes of hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash, Detroit native GRiZ, viral sensation Jimothy, respected UK rapper Sneakbo, Roll Deep’s DJ Target and Jurassic 5’s Soup Presents: The Fullee Love Collective, an infectious live act fronted by gold selling artist and founder of Jurassic 5’s, Soup.

In other recent announcement news, drum & bass fans can rejoice with an impressive offering from artists such as Designate, Crisis, Phibes, DJ Darko, Starz & Deeza, Klimax, Catalyst, Felon, Bushbaby, Youngman Live, Wittyboy, General Levy, Swing Ting & Fox, Notion and Sammy Virji. In addition to the carefully curated lineups from Pretty Weird Records, Rude Kid and Friends and Butterz.

Pretty Weird is the creation of DJ Chloe Robinson AKA Barely Legal, her lineup includes Novelist, D Double E, President T, Barely Legal b2b Madam X, Chimpo and Sicaria Sound. Joining legendry grime producer Rude Kid are Jaykae, Devlin, DJ Tiiny, Sir Spyro and a very special guest. The Butterz Roster includes grime stalwarts Royal T & P Money, Joker & Footsie, Champion & MC Serious, Swindle DJ Set, Elijah & Skilliam and L U C Y.

This summer 30,000 fans will come together at the Bath & West Showground, near Bristol, to witness the world’s best BMXers, skateboarders, streets artists and fresh music talent alongside pioneers from every subgenre including grime, hip hop, garage, drum & bass, dubstep and more, creating the most exciting street culture event in the festival calendar.
