Quiksilver: Mikey Wright’s The ’69 Capsule
Website: quiksilver.co.uk
The new Men’s ’69 Capsule apparel collection is inspired by Quiksilver’s ’69 heritage and ’90s graphics. The entire collection uses timeless colours -black, white and military green- as a nod to history and to ensure wearers longevity, the collection will fit in with the changing fashion trends of the future.
On July 29, Quiksilver launched the ‘69 Capsule – a new Autumn collection for men inspired by the early days of Quiksilver, and backed by Australian Quiksilver surfer, Mikey Wright.
The ‘69 Capsule is inspired by Quiksilver’s 1969 heritage and is a blend of easy-to-wear lifestyle and surf apparel in trend resistant colours of black and military green.
Eye-catching bold graphics feature heavily throughout this new range, taken from Quiksilver archives that reflect the Surfers of Fortune period of the early 90’s.
Global Head of Lifestyle Design at Quiksilver, Ronnie Reyes comments:
“When watching Mikey surf, the words that come out of your mouth are raw, fast, reckless and full on. That mullet! Mikey’s surfing is a reflection of some of the legendary surfers that have existed through Quiksilver’s timeline and looking back at those times was an inspiration to designing this capsule.”
The collection is priced from UK £4 – £60 and available from quiksilver.co.uk
