The warmth retention and moisture-wicking properties of Vans MTE 360™ technology join forces with more than 20 years of snow boot history to create the new Vans Surf MTE Pack, a collection of winter-fortified footwear, apparel and outerwear that stands up to the journey in the most uncomfortable situations.

Fusing style and function, the collection is led by the UltraRange Exo MTE, an evolved style that taps into elevated materials, upgraded comfort and new design language. Equipped with a weather-treated upper to help keep water and weather out, a heat retention layer between the outsole/midsole and sockliner, and an added warmth lining inside, the shoe supports the unique scenarios that surfers like Vans team riders Hanna Scott and Wade Goodall encounter daily.

A newly engineered co-molded outsole with reverse lug Waffle tread is built to maximize grip and durability, while maintaining lightweight versatility —a key feature for Hanna and Wade, trekking through the densely forested terrain of Tofino and equally rocky beach trails of Queensland, Australia.

Whether it’s navigating sweeping rains and ever-changing climate, or blocking the cutting winter winds of their home breaks, the Surf MTE collection is designed to overcome the unique challenges presented by less-than-stellar conditions.

Accompanying the UltraRange EXO MTE, the Men’s Scottsdale MTE jacket in black/green leaf is armed with a DWR coating, Thermoball insulation in the body, and 2.0 poly fill in the sleeves and hood. Green multi pocket details with Velcro flaps give the Scottsdale a utilitarian look which pairs well with the Authentic Stretch Chino in black. Finish the look with the Jockey hat in cress green.

For women, the Clair Shores Puffer MTE jacket in black is a 38”-HPS winter parka with DWR finish, oversized diamond quilting with Dupont Serona fill, and polar-fleece-lined pockets. A hood with Velcro adjuster and bungee drawcords keeps cold air out along with the Pop Checkerboard interior storm flap. Pair with the Chamber II Jogger, a stretch-twill mid-rise elastic jogger with slash pockets in black.
