How is the actual situation of the Sunglasses market?
Generally, its been quite strong even though the stores haven’t been “firing on all cylinders” with the lockdown conditions sales have been strong, partially in the sports styles.

What are the key trends with boardsport sunglasses retailers need for 2021?
For SS21 we are seeing a push towards sports lifestyle, glasses that can cover a range of activities not just fashionable but functional as well.
What are your main price points for this season?
€19,99 up to €199.99 but the majority are around 35-45 euros.

What is your collection theme and which stories are you telling to get customers stoked in 2021?
For SS21 we are seeing a push towards sports lifestyle glasses that can cover a range of activities not just fashionable but functional as well along with eco friendly touch.
What frame shapes are most popular for 2021?
Round frames are still very popular, but this summer you will more sporty silhouettes. The wayfarer stays popular as well.
What are the main materials used in your sunglasses right now and why?
We try and use the best material available for the style and end use whilst being aware of the impact it has on the planet. We have a CX collection, CX is our Eco Friendly collection. This collection is produced in an environmentally friendly way and contains no harmful BPA. The frames are flexible and highly impact-resistant, this is expanding all the time within our line.

Please explain what kind of lens technologies you are working with. Are we going to see any innovations?
We have our own polarized SINTEC® lenses to give your eyes what they deserve: maximum protection, optimum comfort and clear vision. Our newest lens technology is the SINTRAST® lenses. The lenses not only eliminate high energy of blue light and filter 100% UV light, this lens technology is a combination of colour highlight and colour contrast. SINNER SINTRAST® lenses provide high clairity, high contrast, enhance details and are comfortable to your eyes. Resulting in a view without any distortion and maximum protection for your eyes.
Which tints and lens colours are trending?
The mirror lens is popular again, in different kind of colours.
Which frame colours and graphics are on trend right now?
Soft and light colours are trending this summer, but very bright colours as well. Two coloured frames are getting really popular this season. Tortoise frames are always a good idea.

All of our glasses are optimized for prescription, even our sports sunglasses!
