Alterego Surfboards Starts Crowdfunding Campaign On 200Crowd
A crowdfunding campaign to enable Alterego to continue their work on developing their compostable biocork technology and to work on creating and implementing an effective marketing and distribution strategy has been set up on 200Crowd. Also, for their e-commerce business, the funds will help create a software that allows product customisation.

Alterego, the Italian Surfboard Company, based in Alghero-Sardinia, known for its production of compostable boards with cork stringer and proprietary bi:o’cor:k technology is starting a crowdfunding campaign on Italian crowdfunding platform 200Crowd.
The Alterego product collection includes waveboards, pool boards (artificial waves), SUP and skimboards.
The company is looking for support from the surf and water sports community to continue its successful true story of manufacturing sustainable boards and make something tangible for the planet and for all people passionate about water sports and nature.

The campaign will start soon and will run for 8 weeks (or until the max limit of 500.000€ is reached, whichever comes first) with the minimum investment being 500€. As a minimum, the company is aiming to raise 150.000€. Subscription is open to domestic and international investors.
