What big developments, changes, challenges, and/or opportunities are you seeing and how is your brand navigating them?
The present condition of the snowboard market appears promising and we’ve observed a significant increase in demand over the past few years. Moreover, the stock levels in both our warehouse and at our retailers are notably healthier than they have been in quite some time. There’s a lack of older products in the market, indicating a renewed emphasis on selling the latest gear.

What developments are you seeing with regards to product pricing?
We have adopted a conservative approach to price adjustments, aligning with our brand’s long-term narrative. We just celebrated our 20-year anniversary and we are eagerly anticipating the next two decades. As a result, we refrain from making hasty pricing decisions, preferring to make adjustments gradually over extended periods. This strategy prevents us from having to hastily raise prices due to short-term fluctuations, such as a sudden spike in shipping costs within a single year.

Is e-commerce sales still strong since most brands have been put a lot of effort in physical retail?
E-commerce is an integral aspect of our business, providing valuable insights that enhance our ability to cater to the entire market. With the majority of our retailers operating online, we can identify the most effective assets to assist them in promoting our products across various regions.

Past last winter and the lack of snow in Europe, what’s your overall sales and production/inventory strategy for 24/25?
Last winter saw a significant surge in reorders, indicating that our end consumers were undeterred by adverse conditions. The accessibility of open resorts and lifts appeared to be the pivotal factor driving their decision to continue riding and purchase new equipment. We are incredibly grateful for the steadfast support of our dedicated audience, as evidenced by the swift depletion of last year’s inventory. Looking ahead, we are confident in our prospects for the upcoming winters. Should the need arise, we have the flexibility to adjust stock levels in our warehouses on both sides of the ocean, ensuring optimal support for local demands.

BINDING SPECIFIC

Are you introducing any new innovations in buckles, straps, high backs, bases baseplates, heelcups, etc.?
Last year, we launched the Heelwrap baseplate to complement the already popular asym and full wrap baseplates. Moving forward, we plan to actively promote these models, anticipating substantial demand for Bataleon bindings. Additionally, we will continue to refine our aux tech straps. Furthermore, our simplified warranty process and the Never Miss a Day spare parts package that comes with every binding distinguishes us from the competition. Both shops and end-consumers value these minor innovations, recognizing our company’s authentic understanding of snowboarding culture.
