Retail Buyers Guide:  Snowboard Boots F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  Bataleon
Interviewee: Marketing Team

How was last season in the snowboard boot market?
We had an amazing introduction of Bataleon boots this season which are selling quite fast at the moment.

With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard boots market? Boot pricing is quite rigid so creating new and exciting boots with high performance and durability in mind takes a special design and production team to make that happen luckily we are working with the best in the bussines on our boots.

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
At the moment we are all about giving the shops the opportunity to try and ride our boots. The product fit and performance  should be the deciding factor in dedicating a serious amount of boot space to Bataleon boots so we make sure there is a enough boots for shop staff to try and get hyped on our product.

What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 snowboard boot season?
We ride what you ride is true for all our categories ,but no other hardware is more important for the feel of your set up than boots so we cut no corners in making the very best high end boots.

Are you introducing any new or innovative materials (for outer shell, reinforcement, cushioning, support, or grip) in your 2025/2026 boots?
we’ve enhanced all our midsoles and outsoles. We’ve developed new Vibram® outsoles using their XS Trek compound, and now every boot comes with high-quality rubber outsoles.

Are there any updates or significant changes in your liner technology or programs for the 2025/2026 collection?
A perfect boot fit begins with a high-quality inner liner. Even in our entry-level options, you’ll find a comfortable, well-crafted liner made with the utmost attention to detail. At the high-end of our boot lineup, you’ll find the best liner money can buy. It includes all the features of our P2 PremiumLiner, plus 3D-molded ankle support, an EVA sole for added cush- ioning and insulation, and a triple-den- sity insole with extra heel padding for maximum comfort.

What lacing systems will be your main focus for the 2025/2026 boots?
Double BOA but we did not forget the demand for Lace that is still there and a new model with a single BOA to help out the younger riders that need a good boot that does not break the bank.

What are the dominant visual themes, patterns, and materials you’ll be highlighting in next year’s boot line? Any artist collaborations or notable partnerships?
Our design team is known for making  some of the best high end boots in snowboarding and with the new Acid boot the peak of what a high end boot can be has been reached. We are very proud that after leading the industry into 3D designed snowboards boards we quickly take a leading role in pushing design of snowboard boots to a new level.
