Are we noticing changes in the streetwear market this season?
The streetwear market this season is seeing a rise in sustainability and eco-friendly practices, with a focus on gender-neutral clothing and innovative, functional fabrics. Retro and nostalgic styles are making a comeback, alongside a surge in collaborations and limited edition drops.

With inflation creeping up, are you price points also growing?
We are committed to maintaining the pricing of our foundational pieces through strategic partnerships with our factories and vendors. Simultaneously, we will introduce premium, “better,” and “best” tiered styles at higher price points to elevate our product offerings.

What are your stories/ collection themes for SS25?
Our latest collection is a curated blend of lifestyle and fashion pieces designed with purpose, empowering the consumer with the freedom to explore. We fuse traditional vintage aesthetics with modern textiles, drawing inspiration from the vibrant prints and color palettes of the 60s and 70s. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to be an essential, streamlining your wardrobe to include only what you truly need. Versatile styles transition seamlessly from the beach to the trail, and all the way to the BBQ, embodying the spirit of purposeful living.

Are there any collaborations to look forward to?
In Spring ’25, we will continue our partnership with Bass Brains. Born in San Diego, California, Bass Brains crafts handmade, resin-poured, custom swim baits for the hardcore bass fisherman. This ongoing collaboration will introduce new art pieces centered around outdoor fishing culture, enhancing Brixton’s authenticity in this space.

What big trends are you anticipating for SS25?
Big fashion trends for Spring ’25 include a focus on comfort and vintage-inspired styles. Easy-to-wear elastic waistband shorts made from vintage washed cottons, stretch nylons, and corduroy are making a significant impact. Relaxed straight bottom woven tops and knitted breathable vintage tops are popular for their effortless style and comfort. The retro vintage sport aesthetic is also trending, featuring relaxed and oversized tops ranging from fleece to tees, and complemented by baggy pants for a laid-back yet fashionable look.

Are you putting an effort into sustainable clothing/production with your brand?
Yes we have several programs that offer sustainable initiatives within our product lines. We use recycled polyester within our over-shirt and fleece programs Organic Cotton with linen blends in our woven top assortment Along with the Bureo Netplus visor inserts in our snapbacks

Are you experimenting with any new fabrics/materials?
We are using a blend of Kapok in our woven overshirt assortment that is a natural fiber harvested from the seeds pods of the Kapok Tree. The material is light weight, eco friendly, and ultra soft.

Are the boxy styles of last year remaining, or are we seeing new styles coming through?
Yes, boxy styles remain a significant trend in fashion. While there’s always evolution and variation in trends, the boxy silhouette continues to be popular, especially in certain segments of the fashion industry. Designers often incorporate boxy cuts into their collections for tops, jackets, and even dresses, offering a relaxed and modern aesthetic that appeals to many. The boxy fit can be versatile, providing both comfort and a sense of contemporary style. Whether it’s oversized jackets, structured tops, or cropped shirts, the boxy silhouette remains relevant in fashion, reflecting ongoing preferences for casual yet chic looks.

The streetwear / Tech-wear crossovers seems to still be very prominent right now, are there any other styles you expect to excel this season?
Our new relaxed straight bottom woven top style – The Cru – will e a feature of our collection and style we expect to excel and grow upon. It tapes into the 90s aspect and the laid back feel of fashion in this landscape.
