What’s going on in the European skate shoe market?
In SS24 skateboarding market is going to be lazy. Most of brands were in trouble in collecting shoes orders due to significant stock quantities in stores. Apparel and accessories segments performed better, but not enough to fill the gap.

Are you noticing any changes?
Big companies such as Vans lost market share than endemic core sk8 brands.

Are price points increasing?
C1RCA keeps price points flat. Our policy is not crossing the border of rrp €99,00, while our average rrp price is €88,00. I noted several competitors increased again, but we have to consider the spending power of our audience.

New collection themes for next season?
Main theme of FW24 collection will be the “ MANHOLE SERIES”. We celebrate 9 key cities among our markets around the World featuring distinctive & artistic manholes in those places.

Are there new trends to be aware of for next season?
Chunky retro styles from late 90s are performing great. I think it will be still a trend for Winter season and more. As C1RCA, we’re already working on development of a slimmer cold cement sole for the next future.

Are you working on any collaborations/ crossovers with brands? Work in progress

What’s new in terms of silhouettes?
Chunky shoes and classic clean models. White uppers will rule the game.

Are you introducing any new technology this season?
In SS24 we introduced significant upgrades of the insoles for several pro models. The reason is to increase the bounce response during performance. In particular: premium breathable PU sockliner for 50 PRO EV; Gel Infuse™ Cushion insole for cold cement series (CX201R – TAVE TT – 805) We’ll keep them together with all the other tech features for FW24 too.

Is sustainability a concern in your brand?
Not a concern, rather an opportunity. We’re going on with C1RCA recycled footwear project. It’s a fact the trend is random, some Countries are more eco-friendly than other ones. Generally sustainable or recycled materials are more expensive than standard. I mean, while European Nordic territories are going green, in USA or South of America price is still king.

What are the must have skate shoes for FW24?
I’m sure all C1RCA lovers will be excited to collect the “Manhole series” part of C1RCA Legacy line: 7 iconic styles, 9 colorways, linked apparel range with stunning designs
