The European skate footwear market is experiencing a dynamic and exciting phase. In the EMEA territories, where C1RCA is present in 8 key markets, we are seeing a renewed interest in authentic brands with a deep skateboarding heritage like C1RCA. Demand is being driven by a new generation of skaters, as well as consumers who embrace skate style in a broader lifestyle context. Similarly, the North American market, where we have a strong presence, reflects the same trends, with growing interest in iconic and ‘90s-inspired models. The goal for 2025 will be to strengthen our positioning and generate greater hype around the brand to engage a younger and authentic audience.

Currently what are the major trends?
We are observing several key trends:

  • ‘90s Revival: Bulkier silhouettes, cemented soles, and bold graphics are making a strong comeback. Our best-selling models like the CX201R, Tave TT, and 805 perfectly reflect this demand.
  • Technical Functionality and Durability: Consumers are looking for resilient and performance-driven footwear, with soles that guarantee grip and protection. Our FusionGrip™ outsole was developed to meet these needs.
  • Lifestyle Influence: Skate sneakers have become an integral part of streetwear fashion, especially among younger generations.
  • Sustainability and Ethical Awareness: There is a rising interest in more sustainable and cruelty-free products, with growing demand for vegan shoes.

What are your main price points for next season?
For next season, we have maintained a consistent and accessible price positioning across our range to stay aligned with the expectations of our core audience. While offering premium quality, we ensure that both our classic models and technical silhouettes remain attainable, striking the right balance between performance, style, and value. Additionally, SMUs and special projects like Metamorphosis will provide added exclusivity while remaining within reach for our customers.

What stories are you pushing this season?
For FW25, we are launching a powerful and relevant storytelling initiative with the C1RCA Metamorphosis project. We collaborated with several international designers, each of whom interpreted one of our iconic models through an assigned color palette and exclusive graphic design. The core concept revolves around “growth, change, evolution” values that embody both C1RCA’s evolution and the personal journey of skateboarders. The result is a capsule collection of footwear and apparel that combines creativity, performance, and authentic style.

What are your collection themes for FW25?
The FW25 collection explores the theme of metamorphosis, inspired by the constant changes in skateboarding culture. C1RCA evolves while staying true to its roots, featuring bold new graphics and striking color palettes. Alongside the Metamorphosis capsule, the collection balances fresh silhouettes and revamped classics, combining technical functionality with on-trend aesthetics.

Are there any events/ projects to keep an eye out for?
Yes, we are working on several initiatives:

  • Official launch of the C1RCA Metamorphosis capsule, with dedicated events in our key markets.
  • Collaborations with local skate teams for exclusive video productions promoting the FW25 collection.
  • Participation in key skateboarding events, including contests and trade shows, to strengthen our connection with the global skate community.

The FW25 season is dominated by:

  • ‘90s Inspiration: Bulkier silhouettes and vintage details.
  • Technology and Comfort: Lightweight yet durable materials that ensure optimal performance.
  • Bold Colors and Custom Graphics: The Metamorphosis project perfectly exemplifies this, with unique designs and vibrant color palettes.

We are introducing new versions of the Lopez 50, featuring updated materials and fresh colorways. Additionally, models like the CX201R and Tave TT will take center stage with new collaborations involving our pro skaters.

Beyond the Metamorphosis project, we will collaborate with select team riders and core skate shops in our key markets to create limited editions, strengthening both our local and global presence.

Does your footwear brand have a sustainable element? Vegan shoes?
Yes, we are actively working towards making our collections more sustainable by progressively introducing eco-friendly and vegan-friendly materials. Some FW25 models will feature high-quality synthetic uppers, ensuring performance without compromising ethical values.
