DEELUXE SNOWBOARD BOOTS F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW
Retail Buyers Guide: Snowboard Boots F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand: Deeluxe
Interviewee: Florian Heim (Marketing Manager) / Christian Brandstaetter (Sales Manager)
How was last season in the snowboard boot market?
Tough winter conditions, a flood of discounted goods from other brands, and continued uncertainty from inflation and the war have been challenging for the whole industry. Overall, though, our brand is holding steady, slightly below our expectations.
With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
We’ve been working with the same factory since the very beginning, which allows us to optimize production processes and take our products to the next level, even in challenging times
What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard boots market?
While there has been a general price increase across most categories, such as equipment, lift tickets etc, we’ve kept prices steady for most of our models. Only models with new features, advanced technology, or upgraded materials have seen a slight price increase. This approach lets us continue delivering value without passing on unnecessary costs to our customers.
E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
For us it’s super important to support core shops and the snowboard community in general. For this reason, we currently focus exclusively on working with shops and don’t have an own DTC channel.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
Our customer service team and sales reps are there to help all year long. In addition, we run product clinics to make sure shop staff know our products to provide the best service. Wherever possible, we support the local shop, its riders, the surrounding community, and events associated with the shop.
What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 snowboard boot season?
We’re an independent snowboard boot brand—independently owned and entirely focused on snowboard boots. With a family-oriented approach and over 20 patents to our name, we’re an innovation powerhouse that keeps pushing forward.
Are you introducing any new or innovative materials (for outer shell, reinforcement, cushioning, support, or grip) in your 2025/2026 boots?
Introducing the all-new ID Y20 snowboard boot – a game-changer in both performance and comfort. We’ve pushed every boundary in construction, fit, and technology to craft a boot that redefines what’s possible on the mountain. With cutting-edge innovations and patented designs, the ID Y20 is a high-performance powerhouse that’s lightweight and responsive, blending the bold, streamlined style of top-tier sports gear with the all-day comfort of your favorite Deeluxe snowboard boot.
Are there any updates or significant changes in your liner technology or programs for the 2025/2026 collection?
Introducing the all new Stage 5 Snowboard Boot Liner: designed for ultimate comfort and performance. It offers an exceptional out-of-the-box fit. With its 100% thermomoldable materials, this liner can be perfectly customized to the shape of your feet, making it a favorite among boot fitters. Enjoy warmth from the Gold Tread Technology and all-day cushioning with Comfort Core Padding. The advanced Heel Harness Pro ensures a secure fit, while the cat-tongue mesh lining provides outstanding heel hold. The liner is anatomically shaped for enhanced comfort and features an extra insole made from a breathable and antimicrobial foam that provides excellent arch support. The bottom of the liner features an anti-slip zone to ensure optimal connection between the liner and shell.
What lacing systems will be your main focus for the 2025/2026 boots?
BOA® Fit System; our patented Smart Lace System
What are the dominant visual themes, patterns, and materials you’ll be highlighting in next year’s boot line? Any artist collaborations or notable partnerships?
Our in-house design team has created several coordinated color palettes based on extensive trend analysis, which have been applied to various models to highlight key features in the collection while maintaining overall cohesion throughout the line. We are also expanding the use of the proven, sustainable Rise by Bloom material, integrating it more extensively throughout the collection. We’re stoked to keep our collaboration going with the Japanese AREth crew. The AREth Rin was crafted alongside the crew and put through its paces by the one and only Kazu Kokubo.
Which segment of your boot range (Freestyle, Freeride, All-Mountain, Beginner) are you investing in the most, and why?
For us, every category in our range is equally important. However, this year we are placing extra emphasis on the All Terrain Freestyle category, particularly with the development of the ID Y-20. This newly developed snowboard boot will be a game-changer in both performance and comfort. We’ve pushed every boundary in construction, fit, and technology to create a boot that redefines what’s possible on the mountain.
Does your 2025/2026 boot line target any specific price ranges?
We offer boots for every price range, including a new single BOA entry price point and a high-end model in the premium category.
