How would you describe the current state of the snowboard market? What big developments, changes, challenges, and/or opportunities are you seeing and how is your brand navigating them?

The market has evolved as we had hoped it would: it’s now more open minded to different shapes and riding styles, and there is an increased focus on developing products more specific to customer’s needs. Freeride boards are now common place and we feel it’s an excellent time in snowboarding for ‘duprazing’ to make its mark. The main challenge for us has been to get our message out to to snowboarders who are looking for a unique shape that will redefine their concepts of freeriding and snow surfing. We plan to address this by expanding our media department to create more quality content and improve our messaging.

After last winter and the lack of snow in Europe, what’s your overall sales and production/inventory strategy for 24/25?

Our overall approach to the market for 24/25 is to stay true to our core values of providing amazing boards that will last for years. We will be expanding production and inventory for 24/25 and improving our messaging to increase our market share.

Any new design or pattern approaches in your 24/25 gear? Any collabs on the line?

We will continue the classy, timeless graphic story for our main D1 line, with a much louder limited edition colourway to carry on in the footsteps of the super popular tie dye graphic we did a few years ago. Our Be Hot boards will continue with the bright neon vibe for those who don’t like pointy noses on their boards, yet still like to party.

Are you planning to focus on a special product range or type of customers? What’s your newest range?

While our best selling boards are geared towards average to bigger riders, we feel we can improve sales of our smaller D1’s for women and smaller riders, and will devote more resources to that market demographic. Additionally, we have our Be Hot line which will let us appeal to a younger and less ‘freeride/freecarve’ audience, and to let them discover the thrill of ‘duprazing’.

What is your top product marketing story for next season?

We will continue to spread the message that the D1 is the board that will supercharge your freeriding experience and actually improve your ride no matter the conditions. Be HOT, go duprazing!
