Elooa Camp Good Times Wraps Up The 2017/18 Season
The elooa CAMP GOOD TIMES by NITRO SNOWBOARDS closed the season in style in Austria bringing together several hundred snowboarders from all over the world to hit the Snowpark Kaunertal. The event was hosted by Nitro Snowboards with the founders Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt as well as numerous legends from the snowboard world and pros like Sven Thorgren, Elias Elhardt, Marc Swoboda, Dominik Wagner, Ludde Bilthoft and many more.
Press Release: From 06.05.-13.05.2018 we went for the elooa CAMP GOOD TIMES by NITRO SNOWBOARDS to Kaunertal. Participants from all over the world celebrated in the Snowpark Kaunertal the fourth edition of the Summercamp. Snowboarders from Canada, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Belgium and Switzerland were there to have a good time together and to pursue their passion for snowboarding. In addition to the 200 campers who checked in at the elooa camp for 4 or 7 days, hundreds of day visitors were welcomed and the whole glacier was full of snowboarders. A unique spectacle and a renewed growth for the event.
Almost the whole NITRO SNOWBOARDS Family including the two founders Sepp Ardelt and Tommy Delago and Team Manager Knut Eliassen. The numerous distributors, national team riders and of course, the international team with stars like Sven Thorgren, Marc Swoboda, Elias Elhardt, Ludvig Bilthoft, Nico Bondi, Dominik Wagner and many more who just had a great time together with all elooa campers. In perfect conditions with 7 days of sunshine, the Kaunertal conjured an incredibly extensive and creative snow park setup with everything. Numerous kicker variations, hips, wallrides, rails, tubes, boxes and many transitions. Between riding, the participants could test Nitro Snowboards of the upcoming season for free and enjoy the Camp Vibe with chilled music at the Parkbase.
In addition to a lot of snowboarding with photo and film sessions, there were also spontaneous sessions every day with campers and Pro’s paired with plenty of tips and coaching from the elooa team. In this context also a big compliment to all shapers, who did an incredible job and worked daily until late at night.
Next to snowboarding on the mountain prevailed the accommodation always a super pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone present, whether pros, campers or coaches, have lived together and let the day fade away. Skating with pros, a run of table tennis tournaments, a football game camper against pros, a party with DJ Kid Salute and a Beer Pong evening ensured fun and entertainment in the evening. On Friday there was a detailed video coaching for all campers with their elooa coaches and on Saturday numerous prizes were awarded for the most impressive participants. For the grand finale, a live concert by the nitro band “The Almost Pretty Good Band” awaited all guests. The first appearance since the 20th anniversary of Nitro Snowboards! The band consisting of the founders Tommy and Sepp, Marc Swoboda, Jonas Hagström, Ives Ardelt, the Delago children and many more provided a party mood and an incredible atmosphere. A big thank you for that!
