elooa Girls Freeride Camp
On January 25-27, 2019, elooa hosted their girl’s freeride camp, presented by Blue Tomato, in Silvretta Montafon. With coaching from professional snowboarder, Louside Nordstrom from Sweden and a yoga teacher here is a quick recap.
Last weekend we went to Silvretta Montafon for the elooa GIRLS FREERIDE CAMP presented by BLUE TOMATO. Alongside the elooa snowboard guides and a yoga teacher, there was also a professional photographer and filmmaker as well as the professional snowboarder Louise Nordström from Sweden!
After the check-in at the hotel on Friday afternoon, the camp started directly with an extensive yoga session. Thus, the participants were prepared to start into the weekend. With full motivation and top equipped with the latest Nitro Snowboards as well as avalanche safety equipment from BCA Backcountry Access, we went to the Silvretta Montafon ski resort on Saturday. After heavy snowfalls a detailed avalanche safety training was on the agenda before we went to the backcountry with the groups. Depending on the level, the participants could decide in which group they would like. From simple to challenging powder runs everything was there and the girls could enjoy their dream day to the fullest under the supervision and with tips of the professional elooa guides. With tired legs, we went back to the hotel in the afternoon, where a yoga session and a sauna intensively regenerated. After dinner and a theory evening a long day ended.
On Sunday we had another big day with numerous powder runs were waiting for the participants. A lot of powder runs with small drops and jumps, pow turns and tons of fun made our day. Thanks to professional photographers and filmmakers, everything stays in memory.
