Is the market picking up again?
Can t say, I started the brand just a year ago when times were tough already.
What are your main price points for next season?
I gotta sell my shoes for around 9o to 1oo Euros at least. Everything is hand made and in small limited quantities.. Made with high quality leather for durability.
Are there any stories you’re pushing this season?
Same as always: Just go out and fish some lines. On or off your skateboard.
What is your collection theme for SS25?
My line is based on a low model called “Bonito, A mid model called the “koi” and a high model called the “hooker”. Different colours and materials available. I like to wear nice shoes when I’m not skating so I wanted something that looks classy yet skates nicely. Btw. One new model will be available soon. I called it the “Flipper”.
How are you catering to shops/customers regarding your marketing approach? Events and so?
“I market my brand mainly through Instagram, as I feel that shops and websites don’t have much interest in pushing smaller shoe brands. (Thanks to the few shops that support me!) And I just filmed a skate clip to promote the brand a bit more.
What design trends are you noticing for this season?
Trends tend to go towards “more is more”. Which I don’t like and why I stick to what I love and would buy myself; Something more classy, in my opinion. Simple yet graceful.
Any new pro models to watch out for?
No pro models
Does your footwear brand have a sustainable element? Vegan shoes?
I don’t have a vegan shoe. I use pig leather without synthetic interior.
