The DC Week: Brand Activation Méribel, France Gallery
The concept behind the DC Week Méribel activation (March 27-30, 2018) was to capitalise on and publicise DC & Meribel’s Area 43 collaboration park project. Between round table product feedback sessions, team demos, lunches and après-ski parties, an open-to-all boardercross and daily board tests, the successful activation brought together DC employees, partners and brand family from across Europe. The vibe was solid and there were plenty of progressive tricks with a big dollop of amplitude.
No rope tows or helicopters here; riders sessioning the hip and rail features were expected to bootpack, old-school style. There was much sendy on the hip feature. With live music in the Rondpoint venue and riders going big on the hip, the event attracted a big crowd.Seasonnaires, locals, holidaymakers & resort workers from all over the Three Valleys turned out to watch the demo.Back one tailgrab courtesy of Annecy resident Bastien Sturma of DC Team FranceAs the session continued, local ams started throwing down alongside the invited pros.Crowd-pleasing inverts were popular tricks.Alice Moureaux (DC Sales Rep, French Alps region)Bastien Sturma, DC Team FranceDC's reworked camo print raw fleeces and desert camo panel hybrid mids were a clear team favourite.
