Which products sold best in the winter 2023/24 and why?
R-series: Our award-winning RADAR and RACHEL helmets feature fully integrated visors and the models REV and RITA coming without visors are lightweight in-mold helmets with outstanding fit and ventilation.
C-series: Our COMPACT PRO and COMPACT EVO helmets, feature a great look, perfect fit, optimal inner helmet climate, and – most importantly – supreme protection for very attractive mid-price points.
Youth series: The MOJO and MAJA helmets, available both, as visor models or without provide everything needed by the next generation: supreme protection, perfect ventilation, and an easy adjustable fit system – and most importantly for kids – colorful designs with high visibility. Through our exclusive and popular Paw Patrol collab helmets, we were again able to keep our sales figures in this segment high in the 23/24 season.

Are you feeling the impact of climate challenges (unpredictable conditions, snow at higher altitudes, more expensive costs) on your product demand and development?
We are not experiencing any impact on product demand or development as interest in purchasing helmets remains strong. Demand for our helmets remains high, with a consistent number of units sold. However, higher shipping costs are challenging us to keep prices at the same level.

What are the design and material highlights of your 2025/26 collection?
The all-new FÆRO helmet platform blends safety and style in a modern Hybrid Shell design. Featuring Sphere Fit, with innovative height adjustment, ensures a perfect fit for unparalleled comfort and seamless goggle integration. Due to the popularity of the awarded CINEMA VISOR helmet, we’ve incorporated it into our rental line for the upcoming season (CINEMA R). This allows us to offer customers visor helmets in the rental category, giving them the convenience of having both a helmet and integrated goggles in one package.

What colours and designs are you featuring in your 2025/26 collection? Any standout collaborations?
We continue to embrace our Intermix design strategy, allowing any helmet to pair seamlessly with any goggles in our protection range. Alongside seasonal trend colors like earthy and warm tones, we offer a selection of timeless classics, creating over 600 possible combinations. This ensures that everyone can find their ideal helmet and goggle match! We’re excited to continue our partnership with Nickelodeon, offering our exclusive Paw Patrol helmets for juniors. Designed with great attention to detail, these adorable helmets are perfect for both, boys and girls, allowing young skiers to hit the slopes alongside their favorite characters.

Which product do you expect to grow the most in your 2025/2026 collection?
We expect the biggest growth in the all-mountain segment and rental and visor helmets.

How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
We at HEAD call it Rethink: we rethink our workflows from the beginning to the end – from developing to packaging. By reducing waste and using natural, recycled, and certified raw materials and processes, we are on a good path but only at the beginning. In the 25/26 season, three more environmentally friendly helmet models will be available: The FÆRO EXP RETHINK, RADAR RETHINK and REV RETHINK. The RADAR visor is made from 100% recycled polycarbonate, the shell from 40%, and smaller plastic parts from 60%. Soft parts use 100% recycled fleece, and the EPS core includes 20% cork. The packaging uses certified cardboard for better recycling. This is the status that we can achieve today with our partners without the product performance decreasing or the product becoming unattractive in terms of price. And we are working on developing even more and even better Rethink helmets in the future.

What are your marketing stories for 2025/26?

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
Some of the world’s best athletes use HEAD helmets – so our products are always and everywhere highly represented. Additionally, we support our retailers with high-quality content, including product info, videos, and details about features, technology, fit, and usage to assist them in showcasing and selling HEAD helmets to their customers. We also provide durable and sustainable POS items, such as metal-branded helmet slat wall holders with mannequin heads, designed to highlight our helmets and helmet-goggle combos. For our popular Paw Patrol helmets, we offer practical, eye-catching displays that hold 20-30 helmet boxes to increase customers’ attention in the stores. In line with our Intermix Design strategy, we have expanded the number of carry- over and multi-seasonal colors, giving our partners flexibility to sell helmets over multiple seasons without the need for end-of-season clearances. However, the most effective way to convince customers is by letting them try on the helmets to experience the outstanding fit firsthand. After all, fit is the strongest selling point for helmets, especially when considering safety.
