What is the status of the Outdoor Market after summer 2023?
In our estimation, the outdoor market has been expanding continuously in the wake of the pandemic. Neither war nor the slowing economy have seriously dented this growth, and we expect this trend to continue for the foreseeable future.

How did war, economy, global warming, overall inflation affect your SS23 sell in plans (delays/ range cancellations/ carry over/stock)?
While many areas of the outdoor industry may be negatively impacted, our brand actually stands to benefit from climate change. On the one hand, longer and hotter summers are driving more public participation in outdoor activities. Milder winters and erratic weather patterns with heavy rainfall and extreme heat have led to an increase in mosquito populations across Europe. Wars in Ukraine, Palestine and elsewhere have not had a significant impact on our operations. All of our production takes place in Germany and none of the necessary components are sourced from sanctioned countries. Despite the concurrent rise in inflation, we were able to maintain our price range for both distributors and consumers, offsetting the relative decline in consumer disposable income.

What are the major trends in the camping segment in spring/summer 2025
Camping is becoming more popular, literally! Camping used to be seen as more of a nature-lovers’ hobby. Now, we’re witnessing the rise of the casual camper. Instead of week-long treks to far-flung national parks, the vast majority of modern campers are families looking to escape the urban hustle and bustle for weekends at a time. This shift has also made camping more affordable and accessible to people from all social strata.

Take us through your line highlights for s/s 2025
Our two flagship products for SS25 are heat it® classic and heat it® pro. Both models retain the core function of previous models, but offer improved design and build quality. The pro variant comes with additional features, which justify its slightly higher retail price.

What efforts are you implementing towards sustainability?
Our product, heat it®, is built to last and to replace disposable insect-bite itch-relief solutions. A single phone-charge and heat it® can be more effective than three tubes of numbing gel. The outdoors should be pristine for everyone to enjoy – and for us that means eliminating the plastic waste and expended propellant gases that would arise from traditional itch-relief approaches.

What marketing stories and themes are you telling in your line for SS2025?
We make the outdoors more accessible for everyone by providing the definitive solution to bug-bites.
