The Hotzone.tv Park Opening Hintertux, Austria is in its fifteenth year. Starting on October 3 for the weekend, snowboarders of all abilities, ages and genders will gather for the Opening. There will be contests all weekend, opportunities to test out equipment (try-before-you-buy) and many parties.

Press Release- In a few weeks the snowboard community will gather in Hintertux to celebrate the 15th edition of the legendary Hotzone.tv Park Opening from 3rd-6th October 2019. This is the perfect opportunity to kick winter off for all those who can’t wait for the upcoming cold season. A visit at the Opening is worthwhile: Betterpark Hintertux will shine in its’ best light. The snowboard industry will be present with their latest equipment to test, exciting contests and good parties are also on the program. It’s a guaranteed weekend which offers a lot for pro riders, as all as amateurs, industry representatives and snowboard fans.
CONTESTS
15 years Park Opening is a good reason to celebrate. That’s why pro-rider, and Zillertal local, Werni Stock is hosting the Werni Stock Invitational on Saturday. Invited riders will hit the big jump and showcase their skills. The session is open for amateurs to join in. Maybe one of them will spring a surprise? The jibbers will take over on Saturday evening at the Metal Battle Night Rail Contest, hosted by SANE! Snowboarding, at the valley station of Hintertuxer Gletscher. Spectators can expect an action-packed show from invited riders as well as amateurs, who have the chance to qualify for the main event on Saturday morning at Betterpark Hintertux.

SIDE EVENTS MOUNTAIN
From Thursday onwards, the latest snowboards from key industry brands will be available to test. Everyone should use the opportunity to test before they buy. On Friday morning, all girls are invited to join the Girls Shred to improve their freestyle skills. On Sunday, the youngest shredders will gather for the Kids Coaching hosted by pro-rider and father of two, Marko Grilc. He will definitely have some good advice for the kids to improve their riding. Meanwhile, the grown-ups will attend the Hangover Session to earn some pocket money with their most creative and technical tricks.
