Introducing FASE: The Next Generation High-Performance Two-Strap Fast-Entry Snowboard Binding System.
FASE is proud to unveil the patented FASE Fast Entry System, a breakthrough in snowboard binding technology: a fast entry system that enhances the locked-in feel of traditional two-strap bindings, while delivering the same high- performance, all-day comfort, and natural board feel. FASE is redefining the future of modern bindings and is compatible with any boots.
Developed through a major partnership with Bataleon, Jones, Rome and ThirtyTwo, the FASE Fast Entry System is seamlessly integrated into their flagship bindings for the 25/26 season. Aiming to evolve the snowboarding industry, FASE serves as an ingredient technology brand, driving innovation for riders worldwide.
Erwin Knoester, Marketing Lead at FASE, stated, “Our mission is to enhance the snowboarding experience while staying true to its core essence. The FASE system welcomes all brands and riders. Working together with brand partners who share our rider-first approach is essential to bringing this vision to life.”
Brian Cook, Brand Director of ThirtyTwo, remarked: “We’ve explored various binding systems with our boots, but when our engineers and riders tested FASE, it stood out! FASE provides us the opportunity to enter the market with a revolutionary binding system without compromising our boots fit and design. Proving once again that when passion meets rider-driven innovation, the result is unparalleled technical performance.”

The FASE system has been tested and endorsed by riders such as Jeremy Jones, Pat Fava, Victor de Le Rue, Tor Lundstrom, and Chris Bradshaw, with more riders expected to join in the coming months. Jeremy Jones was one of the first to spend time on the FASE System, riding the Jones Mercury FASE he explains, “The Mercury FASE binding is super intuitive to use, offering a natural board feel and all-day comfort. Getting in and out is second nature after a run or two. It is not until you return to a traditional binding that you realize how convenient and fast FASE-featured bindings are. You just get off the lift, slide your back foot in while still gliding, and charge down the mountain.”
His Jones teammate and three-time Freeride World Tour champion, Victor de Le Rue, added: “FASE, Fast Entry! On the first day of riding, I forgot I was on a new binding. The responsiveness and control is amazing.”
ThirtyTwo team rider Pat Fava commented after riding it at the DIYX STRT JAM, “I immediately noticed the T32M FASE bindings had a snug fit and great board feel. I was kind of skeptical but it feels just like a two-strap binding. It’s super fast and easy to get in and out of, rides great and the straps are awesome.”
The development of the FASE system started six years ago and was a collaboration between our engineers, pro riders and first brand partners. Co-invented by David Partridge and JF Pelchat, the FASE Fast Entry System was born from their groundbreaking concept. David explained, «When I began snowboarding, we used bungee cords over our Sorels, then shortly after we moved on to a webbing material with buckles. Forty years later, the approach is still very similar but with more advanced gear. This led me to experiment with a method that improved upon strapping in while maintaining the performance of traditional straps.”

The FASE Fast Entry System features an intuitive design that enhances the traditional binding experience, streamlining the process for faster, smoother entry and exit. With just one hand and a single motion, you’re ready to ride! To get in, simply insert your boot into the binding, the AutoBack (highback) automatically closes around your boot while the Locked-In Toe Strap remains in place. Then simply buckle the FastStrap (ankle strap) with one hand to the preferred tension like you normally would. To get out, simply open the FastStrap then lift your heel, the AutoBack naturally opens to release your boot. That’s it!
Designed for everyone from seasoned pros to first-time snowboarders, The FASE Fast Entry System will go to market in the fall of 2025 as a part of the 25/26 Winter collections on the best-in-class binding models of each brands: The Bataleon Blaster FASE (MSRP $349/€349), the Jones Mercury FASE (MSRP $329/€349), Rome Katana AW FASE (MSRP $379/€379) and ThirtyTwo’s first ever binding, the T32M FASE (MSRP $299/€299), including a Volcom collaboration.
