James Hampton Appointed President Of Hestra North America

HESTRA Gloves, the leading family-owned glove brand from Sweden, is entering an exciting new phase of investment and growth in the North American market. To spearhead these initiatives, James Hampton has been appointed President, North America, based at the regional headquarters in Denver, Colorado. He will be taking over from Dino Dardano, after a successful 20-year tenure.

HESTRA offers a diverse range of products in sport, fashion and professional gloves. Currently managed by the third and fourth generations of the Magnuson family, the company produces 2.4 million gloves annually across it’s five factories.

Hampton joins HESTRA Gloves following nine years in commercial leadership roles at Cotopaxi, a well-regarded brand in the apparel, pack and bag categories. Before his tenture at Cotopaxi, he acquired significant experience at Backcountry.com. “As a long-time user and supporter of their products, I am thrilled to take on this role. I look forward to contributing to the company’s growth and further expanding its presence in the North American market.” said Hampton.
