Jones Introduces: The Shralpinist Academy, Snowsports Courses Taught By Ambassadors

The Shralpinist Academy offers splitboard, backcountry and freeride skills courses taught by Jones ambassador guides

Jones Snowboards is excited to announce the foundation of The Shralpinist Academy, a new guided mountain experience created in partnership with travel agency Captain Wild that offers the opportunity to learn splitboard and freeride skills from Jones ambassador guides. The Shralpinist Academy will give riders of all skill levels the chance to take their riding to the next level and learn from the best on an adventure of a lifetime.

The 2-3 day courses will be hosted at renowned freeride resorts in the European Alps and focus on teaching participants the skills they need to safely ride complex backcountry terrain. The debut academy courses are booking now, including a two-day Steep Slope Splitboarding course taught by Jones ambassador guide Julien ‘Pica’ Herry in Chamonix. Participants can book courses directly on the Jones website, adding a new depth to the brand’s web presence.

Course booking and logistics will be managed by Captain Wild, a travel agency that specializes in curating outdoor experiences in partnership with outdoor sports brands and athletes. Through Captain Wild’s immersive experiences, participants get the chance to test high-quality gear while living in the spirit of the brand.
