How was last season in the snowboard binding market?
Last season we saw the shift towards quick entry bindings continue to solidify in the market. Speaking with dealers and distributors we saw that the demand for a high-performance quick entry binding is now bigger than ever as traditional two-strap sales are being increasingly overtaken by quick entry sales.

With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
We are happy to say that Jones has not increased prices this year. The Jones Mercury has been upgraded to have a carbon hanger to increase performance. Pricing in Euros has dropped for this model even with the performance upgrade. The prices of almost all our bindings have dropped for the European market

E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
Having a balance of both channels in today’s market is key for success. Retailers are where most sales happen and are our best way of following consumer trends. E-commerce allows us to support consumers who may not have easy access to physical retail and allows us to stock sizes in products that retailers don’t have enough demand for.

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
As in all categories we are supporting retailers by making sure they have everything they need from Jones to market our products. We delivered marketing and sales assets earlier than ever this winter and will continue to do so in the coming years. We also focus on making sure we meet all factory deadlines so that we can ship product to retailers on time and avoid delays.

What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 bindings season?
All our binding messaging in 25/26 will be focused on the Jones Mercury FASE – the first Jones binding to feature the new FASE fast entry system. The FASE system offers the same high-performance of a two-strap binding with the speed of a fast entry system that’s compatible with any boot or board. After 6 years of development with Pro riders we are delighted to bring this binding to market.

Are you introducing any new innovations in buckles, straps, highbacks, baseplates, heel cups, etc..?
The biggest innovation is the Mercury FASE binding, which combines the comfort and locked-in feeling of two-strap bindings with an ultra-fast strapping-in process. The Mercury FASE is developed around 3 key features; The AutoBack, which is a highback that closes automatically around the boot, the Locked-In Toe Strap, built to stay in the desired position , and the FastStrap ankle strap, which lets you strap-in smoothly with one hand.

Any new design or pattern approaches in your 25/26 gear? Any collabs on the line?
For 25/26 we will continue to offer almost all our binding models in multiple colourways. Beyond a universal black colourway, the colourways are designed to match the Jones board model that best aligns with the performance of that binding model. The Mercury FASE’s key colourway matches the new Men’s Howler snowboard which we have been working in close collaboration with Victor De Le Rue to design.
