Press Release: DAKINE is happy to announce Leon Glatzer as a new member of Dakine Ohana. Born in Dakine’s cradle, the island of Maui, Leon, 21, is a true citizen of the world. A german kid raised in front of Costa Ricas prime left hand point, Pavones, and now divides his time between Germany, Portugal and Costa Rica. If he’s not on the road… Leon is a true “tico” loves his reggaeton, but has an almost surgical, or let’s say German approach to airs: they are big and they are clean.

“I’m super happy to join team Dakine. It fits, DaKine is from Maui, I was born on the island. But seriously, it just feels really good to be able to use the best possible gear while traveling and competing. Whether it’s pads, leashes or Dakine’s boardbags. I’ve always looked up this brand Because of its amazing athletes and the history it carries”
