With a career dedicated to championing surf shops, Mike Vavak is known for founding SURF SHOP DAY, an International day of celebrating the surf shops who are the backbone the surf industry. Mike gifted SURF SHOP DAY to the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) in 2022. His leadership and commitment to the surf community has left a lasting impact, and his dedication aligns perfectly with LISS’s mission to promote sustainability while enhancing the retail experience.
