How is the European skate footwear market from your perspective?
The European skate footwear market is vibrant but highly competitive. Skateboarding’s resurgence, driven by its inclusion in the Olympics and growing subculture appeal, has increased demand for authentic, performance-oriented products. However, the market is fragmented, with established skate-specific brands competing against lifestyle and sportswear giants. Regional preferences also play a role, with Northern and Western Europe showing stronger demand for premium offerings, while Southern and Eastern Europe lean towards more price-sensitive options. Sustainability and ethical production have become non-negotiable factors for many European consumers.
Currently what are the major trends?
Heritage Models and Nostalgia: Classic silhouettes with modern updates are performing well, driven by a blend of nostalgia and functionality.
Hybrid Performance-Lifestyle: Consumers want footwear that functions equally well on and off the board.
Collabs: Limited-edition drops and partnerships with skate shops, artists, and other brands are driving hype.
Durability: With inflation and tighter budgets, skaters are looking for shoes that provide long-lasting performance.
What are your main price points for next season?
Our main price points for next season are €80, €90, and €100, covering a range of styles that include both vulcanized and cupsole constructions at each level. Additionally, we’re introducing the new Reynolds shoe at €140, which we believe will be a game-changer. It combines high-performance features with a lifestyle-inspired aesthetic
