How is the European skate footwear market from your perspective?
We launched OPUS in Germany, Austria and Spain in 2024. We’re expanding into Six new markets in 2025, the skate footwear market has been challenging due to price, Opus will be a great value option quality shoes at under $75 Euro with no compromise on quality in fit or materials, our goal is to help revitalize the skate market with a brand and product that’s unique to skate shops and not sold as a mass sporting goods brand, we want to help put special back into Speciality and give skater and Skater owned and operated brand they can support.
Currently what are the major trends?
One Major trend we see is baggier fits, with bagger fits come shoes with more Volume or puff, We’re launching four styles of Cups soles Two lows and Slip and Mids.
What are your main price points for next season?
All shoes are under $75 retail.

What stories are you pushing this season?
The foundation of Opus is Community, our video and imaging will continue to show friends traveling and having a good time on the old stunt wood.
What are your collection themes for FW25?
The Theme for FW25. Keep it simple and have fun.
Are there any events/ projects to keep an eye out for?
We’re excited for the https://www.projectfashionevents.com/en/index.html would be great to see some old friends from Europe come over to the show, the last show was the closest thing to an ASR show I’ve seen in years, Good people coming together always leads to good ideas and a revitalized energy for the skate industry, lots of power in live events.
Does your footwear brand have a sustainable element? Vegan shoes?
Opus is working on two plant based fabric we hope to have them in the collection for Fall 2025
