Retail Buyers Guide:  Skate Footwear F/W 2025 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  Osiris

MARKET

How is the European skate footwear market from your perspective?
From our perspective, it’s great. Europeans have always been adept at blending fashion and function, and that’s exactly where OSIRIS lives as a brand. We feel that there is a younger customer that loves the discovery and search for the nostalgic / glory days of skate.

Currently what are the major trends?
Our major trend right now is the retro 2000s skate style, with the D3 OG and D3 2001 being the standout models. However, we’ve also introduced new additions to the D3 family: the D3E and D3S. The D3E is a hybrid evolution of the original models, blending classic design with a fun, slightly exaggerated look in the tongue and collar areas. It’s a modern take on the iconic silhouette. On the other hand, the D3S is the skate-specific version, offering a more toned-down approach to one of the most recognized shoes in skate culture. With a simple cup sole for excellent board feel and durability, and slightly less padding, it’s a technical skate shoe designed with skate purists in mind. In addition to the D3 lineup, we’ve got other great retro-inspired styles like the PERIL and PIXEL, which are both performance-driven and built with the needs of today’s skateboarders in mind.

What are your main price points for next season?
Currently our main price points are the TROMA ALT And REC (also a newer arrival)

MARKETING

What stories are you pushing this season?
Our current standout trend is the retro 2000s skate style.

What are your collection themes for FW25?
Themes were incorporating innovative technical materials like Lenticular, as well as Lenticular infused with graphics. There’s a strong balance of solid colors paired with bold, pop accents, and a focus on earthy tones complemented by vibrant highlights. Another key trend is the use of a consistent color and material story, with certain shades and textures running through multiple shoe models.

Are there any events/ projects to keep an eye out for?
Cool collaborations! But we are under NDA so once we are closer to being able to discuss we will let you know, until them keep your eye on www.osirisshoes.com

DESIGN

What design trends are you noticing for this season?
We’re seeing a major trend where many of the core, original skate shoe companies have been bought, sold, or are under new management. That’s what makes us unique – we’re the last independent, owner-operated original skate shoe company! As for the models, the trend is clear: stay true to your roots, stay in your lane (what you’re known for). If you’re known for a certain look or vibe, you keep perfecting on perfection. The good news is, we’ve been around for 25 years, so we’ve got plenty of lanes to explore and perfect.

Does your footwear brand have a sustainable element? Vegan shoes?
We’ve been offering vegan shoes since the 2000s, long before it became a trend. In fact, 98% of our line is vegan. We’ve had a journey into finding suede alternatives starting when we visited tanning factories in the past. Seeing the raw cowhides – the smell was overwhelming and the sight of it was disturbing – it left a lasting impression on us. That’s when we began researching synthetic materials. The reason so many skate shoes use synthetics today is because we were one of the biggest players in the game back then, and others started to follow our lead.
