The surge in the wetty category overwhelmed even some of the biggest players of the market. How did you cope with the demand in SS21?
We worked closely with SHEICO to make sure to launch the right amount of products and get deliveries on time.

Can you please give an overview of your different ranges (performance, constructions, prices) for SS22?
Our offer on Wetsuits is organised through 3 segments: DOME, EQUATION and META.
Engineered to offer maximum warmth and protection, our DOME series is loaded with our latest technologies.

Which are your key innovations for SS22? (materials, constructions, styles…)
Our key technical feature in SS22 is the Flexskin Offer, our most extensible EicoPrene in range. It provides the ultimate level of stretchiness and flexibility to guarantee a true second skin feeling.

Bold colors and graphics seem to be a thing of the past among the Spring-Summer wetsuit offer. Is the period more prone to fine details, textures and low profile prints?
At Picture, our goal is to offer unconventional design, so our prints and colors are more defined by that goal.

Sustainability is key in the wetsuit category: which materials/process did you implement in SS22?
A key innovation for SS22 Picture wetsuits is the evolution of our EicoPrene. Since our wetsuits launch, our wetsuits are made with EicoPrene, which is a foam material that has the same technical features and profile as conventional neoprene. Whereas neoprene is petroleum-based, EicoPrene is made from a mix of limestone. Always improving our sustainable engineering, we integrate in SS22, oyster shell powder as a biosource and renewable solution. The upgraded EicoPrene technology is featured on 100% of the wetsuits range.

Our Dome range of premium wetsuits combines flexible materials with our best draining technologies to provide you with unparalleled freedom of movement and minimal drying time between two sessions. We make them with EicoPrene, a non-petroleum based synthetic foam derived from a mix of limestone and recycled tires (30%). To laminate the recycled polyester lining we use Aqua-A™, a solvent-free water-based glue with no harmful chemicals. Designed for 52°F -63°F water, our flexible and heavy-duty power seams make the 4/3 Front Zip stand out, and the Dry Now lining wicks moisture away for fast drying and increased insulation. The hyper-stretch knit under the arms offers total freedom of movement. These amazing wetsuits also include a WPF lining (Warmth Performance), our warmest lining available. The 3D-Knit construction and the WPF lining provide warmth by trapping air between each loop. Our Dome range also features glued, blind-stitched, fully-taped seams (GBS) for both maximum protection and comfort zones to protect your ribs when paddling.

EQUATION 4/3 FLEX SKIN FZ
Paddling has never been so good! Featuring our brand new FlexSkin technology, the Equation 4/3 FlexSkin FZ is an ultra-stretch, heavy-duty wetsuit for chilly water in the spring and summer! Equation wetsuits are made with EicoPrene, a non-petroleum-based synthetic foam derived from a mix of limestone and recycled tires (30%). To laminate the recycled polyester lining we use Aqua-A™, a solvent-free water-based glue with no harmful chemicals. The equation 4/3 Front Zip version is designed for 52°F-63°F water. The WPF lining (Warmth Performance), our warmest lining available, makes this wetsuit stand out. The 3D-Knit construction and the WPF lining provide warmth by trapping air between each loop. The denser fabric offers extra comfort. Its front zip and watertight seals minimize water entry. Comfort zones protect your ribs when paddling. Equation wetsuits are made with EicoPrene, a non-petroleum-based synthetic foam derived from a mix of limestone and recycled tires (30%). To laminate the recycled polyester lining we use Aqua-A™, a solvent-free water-based glue with no harmful chemicals. Thinner than the 4/3, the 3/2 Front Zip version is designed for 57°F-66°F water. The WPF lining (Warmth Performance), our warmest lining available, makes this wetsuit stand out. The 3D-Knit construction and the WPF lining provide warmth by trapping air between each loop. The denser fabric offers extra comfort. Its front zip and watertight seals minimize water entry. Comfort zones protect your ribs when paddling. It also features glued, blind-stitched, fully taped seams (GBS) for provide protection, stretch, and water resistance.
