What are the key trends in the snow safety market?
Interfernce Management. In general the topic of interfences has also become an important topic in terms of theoretical knowledge and the practical implications.
What were your biggest sellers in 2022/23 and why?
Amongst our biggest sellers is the PIEPS POWDER BT. This device offers premium performance and reliability at a very attractive price point.
How are you segmenting your snow safety products? In which segment do you expect your biggest growth?
Beacons, Avalanche Backpacks, Probes, Shovels and accessories. We expect biggest growth in beacons.
What are the technical highlights of your 2024/25 avalanche backpacks?
PIEPS Jetfroce with automatic deflation.This deflation gives the buried victim additional oxygen, so that the window of survival of usually 10 minutes opens up to 1,5 – 2h.
What are the technical highlights of your other avalanche equipment (shovel, probe, transceiver) for 2023/24?
The PIEPS PRO IPS with Interfence Protection System and Dual Antenna Signal Processing.
Do you offer any other snow safety products besides the traditional avalanche ones?
We offer the 30°+ XT II, a handy inclinometer, which can be attached to the ski pole and is a convenient way to measure the slope degree and temperature.
What are your marketing stories for 2023/24?
Interfences can reduce the sending quality of your beacon up to 50%. In emergency situations, where the recommended distances to interfering objects, like your mobile phone or a tinfoil paper cannot be controlled, the PIEPS PRO IPS with it’s integrated interference protection system give makes interferences one less thing you need to worry about.
How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
We have a really neat animation, that showcases the beacon’s features in English, German, Italian and French available. + IPS Flyer + Glamshots and outdoorshooting. All the features are also explained on the packaging.
What’s your situation regarding stock and deliveries?
We are continuously producing new batches and are able to furlfill asap orders.
