PROTEC SNOW HELMETS F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW
Retail Buyers Guide: Snow Helmets F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand: Protec
Interviewee: Marketing Team
What are the main customers’ demands when buying a snowboarding helmet?
We find that our customers want a quality comfortable and stylish helmet. They’re used to a skateboard style look and feel, which we offer.
Do you target specific customers / rider types?
Our helmets are for all wintersports participants however the cross over skateboarder / snowboarder or Free skier are typically who you see in our products. Street riders and back country riders and skiers. A lot of split boarders too.
What were your biggest sellers in 2023/24 and why?
Our Classic snow and Old School snow in darker colors. Primarliy our Stealth Black. We make every model in a stealth black or black with black logos.
In which type of helmet do you expect the biggest growth?
It’s hard to outsell our Classic Snow helmet in our own line. It’s our opening price point with a very retro look that I think is what makes it our best seller. Or what our customers are looking for.
What are the design and material highlights of your 2024/25 collection?
We’re carrying on with our current offering. No major changes here.
What colours and designs are you featuring in your 2024/25 collection? Any standout collaborations?
No collabroations. We have talked with a handful of goggle brands to make sure we have proper fit with some of their new styles, but no specific collaborations. We want to make sure our helmets work with the customer’s choice of goggle.
Are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
It’s on the horizon for us. We’re looking into a more satainable packaging solution to reduce the amount of single use plastics. From there we have other ideas we’re working on to make a more sustainable product.
Do you offer accessories to your helmets?
Not at this time.
What is your situation regarding stock and deliveries?
We’re working through some supply chain issues at the moment. We will have it sort this coming year.
