What is the overall theme behind your 2025/26 outerwear range? From which big trends do you take your inspiration?
The theme of Protest’s FW25 collection is centered around arctic myths. We draw inspiration from Inuit costumes, their art and patterns and capturing the essence of arctic dreams. Inspired by the breathtaking hues of the northern skies, this collection channels the energy of arctic landscapes through glossy, reflective fabrics that pop with every color of a winter sunrise. This collection captures the thrill of adventure in extreme conditions. With fresh new bold silhouettes, this collection combines practical and technical functionalities with a modern twist. Each of the new range of shell items is crafted to withstand extreme conditions, much like arctic workwear, ensuring they are both stylish and practical.

Protest ZIP-SHIFT: Function and style that moves with you the ZIP-SHIFT system represents a breakthrough in jacket design, combining practicality with style. It empowers you to effortlessly transition between the slopes and the city, making it the perfect companion for your active lifestyle. Enjoy the freedom to zip, shift, and go wherever your adventures take you. Protest presents ZIP-SHIFT, a new innovative way to wear your jacket. It’s a fashion- and snowjacket all-in-one. Protest ZIP-SHIFT is a specially designed waistband system that enables you to shorten -or- lengthen your jacket by zipping a detachable waistband on -or- off.

What is ZIP-SHIFT?
Detachable Waistband: The core of the ZIP-SHIFT system is its detachable waistband. With a simple zip, you can easily remove or attach the waistband, transforming the jacket’s style and fit to suit your needs.

What new colours / prints are you introducing?
We are introducing four exciting color groups. First, we have a strong presence of blues and natural tones, offering a calming and versatile palette. Next, greens, pinks, and natural tones are also strongly featured, bringing a fresh and vibrant look. We are also introducing intense pastels combined with natural tones, which will be slightly less prominent but still add a unique touch. Lastly, poppy red, blue, and natural tones will be included, providing a bold and dynamic option, though they will be a bit less present. In terms of prints, we are excited to incorporate Inuit patterns and art into our designs, adding a cultural and artistic flair to our collection. We hope you love these new additions as much as we do!

Any trends that your brand is moving away from?
For Protest Sportswear we focus on making clothes that are durable, stylish, and better for the environment, while still offering the best price and value. Step-by-step we’re using more sustainable materials like recycled polyester and organic cotton in the winter collection as well in the summer collection. And we’re keeping our designs simple, and versatile, so they’re easy to wear and match for any occasion.
