What trends are you noticing in boardsport protection for 2023?
We recently introduced REKD Energy Crash Pants, designed to be multisport, we have seen a lot of snow accounts as well as indoor skatepark riders buying into them?

How’re you navigating the current hardwoods overstocking issues?
REKD is our strongest brand in sales at the moment, whilst there is overstocking issues, the demand for products is still good / okay – and we are seeing good orders throughout the range.

What are your main price points for next season in helmets, pads, protectors?
We are working on improving and developing our range. We have some exciting ‘higher’ price points than our norm coming out end of 23 early 24.

How is skate participation developing and how important is protection to new riders?
We see trends of parent / child learning together which is a great thing. Protecting people whilst they’re learning is the most important, advanced riders learn to gauge risk, learn to fall. Often, it’s new riders who get the most hurt, doing ‘less risk’ tricks than advanced riders.

What are your main stories in terms of protective technologies for 2023?
