RIDE SNOWBOARD BOOTS F/W 2025/26 PREVIEW

Retail Buyers Guide:  Snowboard Boots F/W 2025/26 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  Ride
Interviewee: Ride Snowboards Marketing

How was last season in the snowboard boot market?
The boot market is doing quite well if you produce good boots, comfort doesn’t lie

With the recent overall price increases, have there been any positive developments in manufacturing, sourcing, or logistics?
Every year, we develop our boots to make them more intuitive, more comfortable, and of higher quality. If there is one category where we must make constant efforts to keep our customers satisfied, it’s boots

What are the major trends you’re seeing with product pricing in the snowboard boots market?
Consumers have understood the importance of investing in good boots. I think the budget is no longer a barrier in this category to get durable and comfortable boots. It’s a great long-term investment that you won’t regret. We can also see more and more Boa into the market.

E-commerce Vs. physical retail, how are you balancing both channels?
Specific approaches are needed for these two channels. With Ride, we try to support local shops, resort shops, and core shops as best as we can by providing information, advising them on products for customers who come in for face-to-face advice. And for e-tailers, we work differently while providing them with our support too. I must also add that for boots, the advantage of physical stores is that they can let customers try on the boots, find the right size and offer them a full bootfitting experience.

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
We support our retailers through building the best boots on the market. We’re also introducing new sales tools through boot cutaways showing all tech and lacing diagrams, footbed displays, Intuition foam blanks and other in-store displays.

What unique brand messages are you focusing on for the 2025/2026 snowboard boot season? RIDE boots are best fit, best function, best durability!

Are you introducing any new or innovative materials (for outer shell, reinforcement, cushioning, support, or grip) in your 2025/2026 boots?
We’re constantly working to keep our boots the best in the business. RIDE is focused on making boots with the best fit through Intuition, upgraded footbeds, innovative lacing patterns. Best durability through materials like HDR and Michelin soles. Best function through working with our team and engineers to build snowboard boots for snowboarders.

Are there any updates or significant changes in your liner technology or programs for the 2025/2026 collection?
RIDE is working with the best in class liner materials through Intuition. Our partnership with Boa has lasted for many years, and we always make sure to evolve our closure systems

What lacing systems will be your main focus for the 2025/2026 boots?
BOA fit systems rule the world of boots, we’ve got some exciting things coming in the next seasons.

What are the dominant visual themes, patterns, and materials you’ll be highlighting in next year’s boot line? Any artist collaborations or notable partnerships?
Black is still the main color, but we obviously have other options for those who love color.

Which segment of your boot range (Freestyle, Freeride, All-Mountain, Beginner) are you investing in the most, and why?
All of the above, we build boots for every snowboarder on the market.

Have there been significant changes in how you approach product pricing for the upcoming season?
RIDE is always paying attention to market trends and making sure our pricing is competitive with the rest of the market.

Does your 2025/2026 boot line target any specific price ranges?
Ride is the company for the people! All of the above, we build boots for every snowboarder on the market.
