What are the major trends in the snow goggles market?
It’s hard to say what the trends are, as there are not too many other brand that are women specific. But we have seen so far is a this rim frame design, pale colors like aqua, light old pink or light purple. Our strength is flora and abstract prints

What do customers expect from their goggles?
Customers expect, comfort, quality and nice look

What were your biggest sellers in FW21/22 and why?
Our biggest seller last season was the Feelin model, a frameless design, with nice lens color effect, sober frame, and a jacquard strap mixed with sublimated prints from our outerwear collection. the customer also the head to toe matching combination option

Where do you expect the biggest growth for FW22/23 ?
We are not expecting a big growth, but are rather just focusing to making this season as they used to be pre Covid. We re-introduced our sport line distribution offer for our sport chain and big key account customers with the Noosa. This model comes with a spherical frame, made in Italy, selling at less than 90€ RRP

How are you segmenting your snow goggles and what are the main price points in each segment?
Roxy goggles range is segmented in 3 different categories
First we have the COLOR LUXE® franchise, which is the top to middle price range (from 119€ to 159€) The Color luxe line offers the Zeiss lens color LUXE technology (similar to prism, or chroma pop for other brands) and Essilor lens with NXT® photochromic lens. Target client here is the ski/snow specialist, who is looking for a pair of nice goggles with technical features
The second category is our sport line, with an attractive price range from 45€ to 99€ RRP. Aimed mainly at sport chain distribution, as well as our franchise stores, retailers and ecommerce. Target clients here is a holiday rider, who is looking for a pair of goggle in a lower budget.
And last but not least is our girls and “mini me” line for girls from 2 to 12

What are the most important technological features in your FW22/23 collection?
Our Speed connect magnet system applied on the Rosewood model

What is new in terms of construction and materials in your FW22/23 goggle collection?
FW22/23 is the season we really focus on sustainability. We didn’t really invest in new technologies this year, but instead tried to focus on using eco components and working on finding partners with eco conscious process. 100% of our Color Luxe® line is now made with BIO TPU frames injections, no varnish or painting, are directly tinted in the raw material and come with recycled nylon straps

What colours and designs are you featuring in your FW22/23 collection? Any standout collaborations?
Based on the success of our Peak Chic and Roxy Life capsule last year, we re-introduced this season 2 products from those capsules. Peak Chic is oriented more for the girls who prefer a bit more feminine look when Roxy Life focuses more on the 90’s style Roxy product
How are you helping retailers to sell this category?

Did the restrictions at resorts last year impact the sell-through of the FW21/22 collection? If so, how have you addressed this issue?
The last 2 seasons have been tough for everyone, so like a lot of other brands we brought in some carry-over lines and reduced our assortment. This will help the stores to sell the product without having to discount it heavily

Have you had problems with the supply of FW21/22 product? If so, how have you addressed this issue, and will this result in changes to your FW22/23 sell-in?
We didn’t feel a huge impact on the factory side of things but rather in the logistics. We saw an increase in pricing and delays in delivery schedules. We tried not to let this effect the price of our end product and also put in our orders slightly earlier this year to have a buffer on any unexpected delivery delays

The Rosewood goggle comes with integrated speed connect magnet system to ensure you always have the right lens for a great day of shredding. The Rosewood 22/23 is now part of our eco conscious program, using BIO TPU frame injection, no painted, no varnish and water base glue.

With the Feelin Roxy and Roxy Life capsule, we are going back to our roots, reintroducing styles from the 90’s collections

The Storm Women Peak Chic is our feminine line, with a OTG feature to be worn over the optical glasses.
